About

Hurley's à Yul delivers a quintessential Irish pub experience characterized by robust, comforting fare within a high-traffic transit setting. The menu centers on traditional recipes, featuring hearty meat pies, beer-battered fish and chips, and savory stews that emphasize classic tavern ingredients. Diners find themselves in a space designed for efficiency and casual social interaction, mirroring the aesthetic of a storied public house. The establishment prioritizes substantial portions that cater to travelers seeking familiar flavors and restorative meals while in transit. Polished wood accents and integrated seating arrangements define the environment, creating a functional yet authentic atmosphere. This venue remains a reliable destination for those requiring straightforward, satisfying nourishment prepared according to established pub culinary standards without unnecessary complication or modern fusion experimentation.

Review Summary

Reviews for Hurley's reflect a polarizing experience typical of airport dining, where the quality of food and service varies significantly depending on the visit. Many guests appreciate the convenient location, comfortable pub atmosphere, and efficient service provided by certain staff members, often highlighting specific menu items like the black bean burger, fries, and various sandwiches as tasty options. Conversely, a frequent point of frustration among patrons involves high pricing for relatively small portions and inconsistent food quality, with some diners reporting overcooked or oily meals. Service speed and attentiveness are also recurring themes, as experiences range from remarkably friendly and accommodating to unacceptably slow or indifferent, suggesting that while some find it a reliable spot to relax before a flight, others suggest managing expectations regarding both value and consistency.

Great Irish pub inside the airport. If you have the time before your flight, this is a great place to sit & eat. Staff always very friendly.

The food is kinda mid. Which is expected for an airport pub. The service was terrible. Peter, amazing that you introduced yourself to take the order was never to be seen for the rest of the ride. I had a fruit fly in my beer. Normal. I'm not difficult ...I'll wait for you to come back & check on me so I can ask for a spoon. But. You never came back. So over 10 minutes, no check back & waiting to have a sip of my drink. He has an amazing ability to stand off side of the cash where he can't see his only two customers As a bartended for 13 years & am astounded by the lack of service

You'd think they'd know how to pour a Guinness in an Irish pub, but that's not the case here. The poutine however wasn't bad, although way overpriced, but I guess that's to be expected for an airport location. Service & atmosphere were just average.

We had a layover in Montreal & we stopped by this pub. We were prompted seated & the staff was great especially our server, Angie! They have a limited menu but they have all the favorites. They also have a bunch of draft beers that came out nice & cold. Back to Angie..she answered our questions & was super patient & kind! The restaurant was packed but Angie took our orders & made sure our food came out quick & hot. I'd recommend Hurley's for a quick bite before you catch your flight.

We got stuck with a 4 hour delay & decided to use our meal vouchers here. Hard to go wrong an Irish pub, even in an airport. They were thankfully able to put together a table for the 3 of us pretty quick, with space for our stroller. The server was really friendly & helpful, attentive throughout our time there. The only thing was they happened to be out of the one dish my wife wanted to order, but she went with her second choice & was very happy with her sandwich. I got the fish & chips, they were cooked perfectly & very little residual oil which was great. Fairly light batter which was nice. Solid food, good beer, great service, & decent Irish pub vibes for a bright & airy airport.

My flight was delayed & every bar & restaurant in the terminal had closed by the time I went to Hurley's pub. Fernando, who was working on Wednesday July 9th evening, was so kind to tell me they were still open & serve me a drink. I had it & more customers joined me (4 people) he served all of us kindly & professionally even though he was supposed to close the place way before we left. He made my day & the day of the other guests, thank you so much for being an amazing host, Fernando!

Kitchen staff can get overwhelmed in peek hours. This is good pub food no more.

Nice pub with a cool view to the planes outside. The ratio value for money in food is not that good though. We ordered some chicken wings (8 came in total), with two pints of beer & paid $70. The service is great! Helpful & friendly staff

Expensive for what you get
Sad burger served in a plastic basket. At least they could use plates.
First time I see an Irish pub with canned Guinness. What a shame
