Food left a bit to be desired, certainly not bad, but not great. We had the chicken wrap, burger & poutine & overall it was lacking a bit of quality, but again, it was not bad. Service was good.View more
Hurley's Irish Pub has long been a Montreal favorite, & my recent visit reminded me why. Catching up with an old friend over a couple of pints, I was reminded of the pub's enduring charm.
Stepping into Hurley's is like stepping into a traditional Irish pub. The decor is warm & inviting, with plenty of dark wood & cozy nooks. The staff are friendly & welcoming, making you feel right at home.
While Hurley's offers a menu of traditional pub fare, we were there for the Guinness. & Hurley's certainly delivers on that front. The Guinness was perfectly poured & tasted just as it should.
But Hurley's is more than just a place to get a good pint. It's also a great place to catch up with friends, relax after work, or enjoy some live music. The atmosphere is always lively & convivial, making it a great spot for a night out.
If you're looking for an authentic Irish pub experience in Montreal, Hurley's is definitely worth a visit. Just be warned, it can get busy, especially on weekends. But that's just a testament to its popularity.View more
You know you found the right Irish pub, when there's a firmly handshake with the super friendly owner, you tell each other's names & do smalltalk over some pints of Guinness or good IPAs with whoever is sitting next to you. There's also nice live music & terrace seating.View more

A good cosy & clean Irish Pub in central MTL , have been several times Good choice of beers , good Guinness ( from the Tap & Guinness zero from the can ) overall excellent service , a bit let down by the food ( & plenty of alternatives locally for better food ) , steak salat was underwhelming & a poor portion of meet for the price * note to owner - bring back the original steaks & poutine , fries , live music was good , fair pricing , nice terrace out front & back , will be back against , tip parking nearby & 2 mins from NovotelView more

I appreciate the laid back but attentive service as this pub. Their Guinness was fresh last time I went (not bitter) & their food is basic but solid pub fare. I typically get the chicken wings & fries - do be warned though that it can take a long time for the food to come out of the kitchen, so don't wait until you're starving to order.View more
We had Swiss burger & roast beef dip every thing was too salty. The point it wasn't eatable. The guinness taste was watery & oldish. I was looking for safest option which was disappointing.View more
Good old pub atmosphere. Good service, good Guinness & hospitality from staff super. Smelly Gents, I suppose it's so bust. Ha ha. After 8pm is best.View more
Best pint of Guinness I've had outside of Ireland in a long time.View more
I love Guinness & Hurley's knows the right way to pour one. The best Guinness I've had out of about 5 other Irish pubs. Food is good, fries & poutine are both standouts for me, although I'll admit I don't eat much while I'm there. The music is fantastic. The band is always great & always plays songs that get people singing along. Fiddle player is a nice touch, always sounds great, but all the players are good. Thoroughly enjoyed myself here more than once.View more
Stopped to watch the rugby world cup, Ireland vrs Tonga. Was glad to find somewhere showing the game, plus served a top drawer Guinness. Pure domage I would say a great pint of Guinness for being out of the island!
Staff were great & I would definitely come back.View more
