Hurley's Irish Pub is the premiere Irish pub in Montreal. Since it opened in 1993, the friendly staff have been serving 18 draft beers, a selection of more than 40 single malts and 8 whiskeys. A selection of hearty fare awaits you. With two floors, there is live music played every night, a fireplace, a game room and a quiet snug.

You'd be surprised how good the food is here ! It's supposed to be a pub , mostly drinks & some fish & chips but the burgers are great , the sandwiches are good , the salads too ! I was pleasantly surprised the first time & been there a few times since . The service is really friendlyView more

So my friends have told me for a while that this is a'must' in Montreal. I'm not that into Irish music…. & the environment hits anyone. It's amazing, super fun. If you have the chance ti see the video you can see how fun it is. We ordered a classic drink from there that is called Black velvet. Some locals would call it'Funky' hahaha but it's quite good. Arrive early so you can have a sit near the band. We arrived at 11:00 which was'just on time'.View more

Hurley's Irish Pub is a cozy spot with great drinks & charming little corners. We picked a perfect spot to sit, but unfortunately, a few inconsiderate sports fans briefly disrupted the experience-not the pub's fault, of course. Once they left, we fully enjoyed the warm atmosphere. The food & drinks were excellent, making it a great place for a romantic date or a casual get-together with friends.View more

The food is classic pub food but quite decent. The atmosphere is charming & the waiters super cool. We went for comedy night & it was cozy & fun. Cobb salad was ok, the sweet potato fries were a massive bucket with curry mayo sauce that was yummy. The smoked meat sandwich was small but good. Such an old world feeling at this pub. Another landmark in Montreal. There are many nooks & crannies to find & kick back for great food & drink. You are most likely to meet some of the locals, & if you are lucky, you may even meet the owner, who creates a boon of hospitality. The bartenders & servers are fantastic! Came here on a busy weekend night. Great atmosphere for an Irish Pub. There was live fiddle music the night I went. Loved the music. I also came a couple times before this on less busy days. It was difficult for me & my friends to get the attention of the barman for drinks. I had ordered a pint of Murphy's. Unfortunately, it tasted incredibly sour - not at all what I'm used to since I order a Murphy's wherever it's available. I'm not sure if this means it was old, the lines weren't clean, etc. I was hoping to have a great stout since it's hard to come by in Montreal. Definitely has a great Irish feel. Maybe the sour pint was an isolated incident. I recommend the owners put more emphasis on quality control - particularly on the stouts, since how their poured, presented, & taste are important (at least to me) for an Irish pub.View more

Popped in pre-game for a bite to eat & had a great meal. I had the Murph burger & it's easily in the top 5 best burgers I've ever had. Despite being super busy our server was great, food & drinks were delivered promptly & we felt well taken care of. My only complaint was the shaky / wobbly table we had to use & the dimness of our spot to sit. Had to use our cell phone flashlight to see the menu.View more
