Donuts at Homers Boîte à Beignes are described as huge, fluffy, and freshly made, with a wide range of flavors from classics to creative options like crème brûlée, maple bacon, pistachio, and indulgent varieties such as KitKat or cookie dough, and the portions are often praised as good value for the price. The shop's colorful, arcade-themed ambiance and on-site seating add to a nostalgic, casual experience that many reviewers enjoy, while the staff are generally described as friendly and helpful with quick service. Some reviewers note occasional lines when busy, moments of inconsistency in taste or sweetness, and a few concerns about cleanliness or overly sugary flavors. The brand is widely seen as a standout donut destination in Montreal, with many saying it is among the best, prompting repeat visits and recommendations, though guests should check toppings carefully due to allergy considerations, as one ferrero rocher donut can include peanuts.
This is a must visit if you like donuts. Especially, the ones that are the size of your head. Ordered a dozen variety donuts & they all were great. Very fluffy & not too heavy.
I've visited homers, twice already. & both times, it devastated my taste buds. As well as their prices for the boxes of 6 or 12 is pretty decent, not expensive compared to any other donut shop. I highly recommend coming to try it out! Highly recommend; blueberry cheesecake, apple/cinnamon, skors, kit kat, & the chocolate crunch. Can't wait for them to open up soon at their location in the South Shore.

Donuts were super doughy & soft. We were worried at first they won't be good but they exceeded. We got cheesecake & choco croquant. Needs more drink options, latte was not great.
