Item is overpriced. There are too many tables. It's cramped & noisy. Wait stuff will not attend you unless necessary such as serving you the bill. Homemade bread was not freshly made. There was bone in the lamb pie.
Woww!!!!! Trust me. Avoid those trendy old port places that are beyond expensive for the quality of service & food you get & go to Holder. Prices are extremely decent. Its our new favorite restaurant. French cuisine does not disappoint, the food is AMAZING. The service, the ambiance, the food is all wow. Customer service is one of the best. Wish i could name our server but they don't have name tags. He had longer hair, the Africa continent shaped tattoo on his right arm next to a little rose & a little mushroom. Greatest service. We will be back many times.

Everything about this restaurant was phenomenal. The food felt cozy & very delicious & oysters were the freshest I've ever tried. But the highlight of this restaurant is the outstanding service. Every staff is amazingly friendly helpful & knowledgeable. We truly enjoyed our Christmas dinner.
The food is the star of this restaurant: lobster ravioli, flank, fries from the flank in the truffle lobster ravioli sauce, or gnocchi, all delicious. French onion soup for the first time was wonderfully cheesy & a peppery depth to the sauce. A regular for us when visiting Montréal each year.
Gets the job done. Great food for the old town. Better value can be found elsewhere, but for the location, definitely good enough. Space is beautiful too.
Le repas était excellent, j'ai mage le tartare de boeuf & il était exquis ! Le service était parfait, notre serveuse était super, à prit le temps de bien répondre à nos questions. L'endroit est bruyant mais c'est ce qui donne le ton a l'atmosphère. Une prochaine visite s'impose
Half way through the night, after the server took our order & how we want the meat to be cooked, they changed shift & we get another waiter. Once the food came, most of the orders were not made the way we each wanted. It was a mess. To be honest, the food was fair at best. Very disappointing.
Great space, amazing service. Food was good but nothing out of this world. Duck confit was delicious but heavy & lacking acidity in the salad to balance out.

La nourriture n'est pas mauvaise, mais très basic je dirais. J'ai prit l'entrée de calmar & le canard confit. J'ai malheureusement fait une indigestion alimentaire suite à mon souper... Le service était super bien, les serveuses & les serveurs sont très bien & super gentils! Pour ce qui est de l'ambiance, je trouvais que c'était un peu trop bruyant. C'était un peu décevant comme expérience & je regrette un peu d'y être allée pour mon anniversaire, je me me suis fiée aux avis & je dirais que ce n'est pas à la hauteur de ce qui est vanté.
