Trop cher, pas de goût. Trop de laitue. La barbacoa manque de sel, & le pastor était sec & brûlé, seulement un type de sauce naturel, tout les autres sont artificiels.

Je ne vous recommande pas de manger ici.

The food was very average. We ordered nachos, but the tortilla chips were extremely greasy. The salsa was decent, though nothing outstanding. Portions are very small for the price.

Additionally, the cashier was not very helpful. I placed the order through the app, & when I went to the counter to ask for a glass of water, she gave me a dismissive look, told me they do not provide free water, & sent me to another establishment to ask for it. I ended up getting a glass of water at a place where I didn't even buy anything, which was kind of them.

The entire food court area was extremely crowded & difficult to move around. I do not recommend either Hogar or the food court in general.

I don't think I have eaten a more loaded, flavourful, fresh taco in Montreal. Tacos were over flowing of juicy chicken & steak. Amazing.

The food is super mid. I had the burrito with beef. Nothing inside the burrito tasted like anything.
The rice tastes like uncle Ben's 2 min rice,
The beef was bland. Not a single spice used.
The guac didn't taste like anything
The cabbage was probably the only thing giving it flavor.
Portion was ok for the price
Presentation was nice.

Update:
My friend brought me a burrito from here a year later & I am disappointed to say that it remains just as mid. Was it edible: yes. Please for the love of god add some flavor to your food!
Garlic, onion powder & paprika would do wonders.

Tried the pulled pork taco with pineapple-habanero salsa. The pork itself was smoky but no flavour, & the pico de gallo added a bit of freshness, but that's about where the positives end. The tortilla fell apart instantly, which made the whole thing messy & honestly pretty unenjoyable. The flavours overall were very'meh' - nothing stood out, nothing layered, nothing memorable.

It wasn't terrible, but nothing about it would make me go back or try it again. Just okay, & for the price, not worth it.

The cahier who took the order has an attitude & seems a bit annoyed or something. This is n'y only concern. Its important to be courteous to customers .

Nous sommes arrivés tard donc il n'y avait plus de boeuf malheureusement. Ils m'ont crédité les tacos par gentillesse. Le tacos au poisson etait exceptionnel. Le tacos au poulet était très bon aussi. Nous avons aussi essayer le bol burrito au poulet. Généreuse portion avec des ingrédients frais & savoureux. Un des meilleurs bols que nous avons mangé. Nous allons définitivement revenir au Royalmount pour dîner/souper chez Hoga

Title: Tasty Food but Serious Safety Concern

I recently visited Le Fou For at Royalmount Mall. The meals we received had a beautiful presentation & tasted very good, so my first impression was positive. However, during my meal, I suddenly felt something sharp poke my gums. When I pulled it out, I was shocked to see it was a piece of wood - part of a brochette skewer that had broken off into the food.

I returned to the restaurant immediately to report it. The staff member told me,'Oh, that's not supposed to be there,' & explained it was from the wooden brochette stick. She apologized & said they would inform the kitchen staff.

While I appreciated the apology, this is a serious safety concern - especially for families. A sharp piece of wood could easily injure someone, particularly a child. I strongly advise parents to carefully check the food before serving it to their kids to avoid any accidents.

The food was enjoyable, but the experience left me worried. I hope the restaurant takes this matter seriously & improves their food safety checks to prevent it from happening again.

When we wnet thebfirst time for lunch a few weeks ago, things went much better. The person taling our order was attentive & helped us with the menu. Went back a few days ago, the person taking the order was on his phone, took a few minutes to acknowledge us, then didn't look at us. Food took way longer than the previous time, even though it was almost 3pm. The burrito was soggy & poorly filled & wrapped. My wifes meal had grilled chicken that was dry & bland, despite them bathing the preciously grilled chicken pieces in some type of liquid, we saw them as they prepared our meals. Too bad, staying consistent is the hardest part of running any restaurant . Wont go back as im not a gamble
