Review Summary

Hoai Huong is widely regarded as an authentic Vietnamese restaurant with a broad menu of traditional dishes that consistently deliver bold, true-to-style flavors. Dishes like Banh Xeo and pork with vermicelli are frequently highlighted, and pho and imperial rolls are common favorites among guests. The atmosphere is lively and convivial, with a family-run vibe and friendly, multilingual staff who tend to be responsive, though service can vary and crowded times may bring mistakes or slower attention. Food quality is cited as high and portions generous, with praise for freshness and herbal balance, yet a few reviews note occasional use of MSG or soups that feel light on meat and depth. Value is generally seen as good, though prices can be higher than some expectations. Seating can be tight and accessibility varies, with not every area being wheelchair accessible, while the terrace offers some easier access. Paying with cash is often suggested, and Hoai Huong remains a go-to for relatives or travelers seeking reliable Vietnamese comfort food in a bustling, welcoming setting.

One my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in the city. Have been going here with my family for years now!

Consistently delivers great Pho soup. Delicious broth. Tasty beef & noodles. Generous portions. Spring rolls are a great entree too.

Service is very friendly.

I would recommend this restaurant to any fans of Pho.

Used to be one of my favorite place for Pho/soups

The quality went down, the soups have less taste(too much water?) & less meat/noodles quantity

Still my favorite restaurant. Amazing fresh food, taste is fantastic! I've been coming here for over 25 years & no other Vietnamese restaurant compares.

I went with a Vietnamese friend. Food was approved by her as authentic, & I approved it as absolutely delicious! My favorite one was the soup, pho. This is exactly the soup you want to have in a winter day! The food came super fast, & they brought everything together. The food is not expensive & the place is small but cozy. There is parking right in front of the door. This is a must try!!!!!!!

Ordered our favorite, bo la lot. Only 6 rolls & much smaller. Not enough rice cakes, not enough carrots, not enough cucumbers. & the kicker: much higher price (28$) now. I know inflation & all but come on now. I was still hungry.

A response to their response: we have asked for additional rice paper. Still not enough. As for the cucumbers & carrots, customers shouldn't have to ask for more of those in the first place. Based on past experience, it could be seen as "bothering" the staff too much with petty requests.
