Amazing food, atmosphere, & view. Everything was perfect except for the service which needs a lot of improvement. Highly recommend the tartelette aux chanterelles.Voir plus
Excellent soirée, delicious cote de boeuf! Excellent service. Thank you.Voir plus
I love you hiatus!!! Came here for my boyfriends birthday to show him the city & it was magical & romantic beautiful sky high . Light city shining.
Definitely would be back here for them ribs🤤
& excellent service & accommodation ❤?
I loved our server who took care of us last night & found a way to give us a candle with chocolate s, since they dont give birthday dessert 💗But amazing overallVoir plus
Located on the 46th floor of Place Ville Marie, Hiatus offers a beautiful dining experience with a stunning view of the city. The restaurant specializes in French-Japanese fusion cuisine, with a refined & creative menu. Every dish we tried was well-prepared & flavorful, showcasing high-quality ingredients & thoughtful execution.
Beyond the food, the service was outstanding attentive, professional, & welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is elegant yet inviting, making it a great spot for a special night out.
However, since Hiatus is quite popular, reservations are highly recommended to secure a table. Between the breathtaking view, excellent service, & well-crafted dishes, it's definitely a place worth visiting.Voir plus
Everything was great, but their menu did not fill me up. Comparatively to some great restaurants in Montreal, you pay a lot for little. Other than that, & that it was a little cold inside, it's an amazing restaurant!Voir plus
I tried to contact you privately by email but received no response. Unfortunately, the customer service reflects the overall quality of the restaurant. We recently dined at Hiatus, expecting the same great experience as in the past, but we were very disappointed by both the food & service. Positives: The brioche, scallops, & cod were excellent. Negatives: Pork chop: Very little meat, overly spiced, masking the flavor. Mushroom tartlet: Extremely salty, ruining the dish. Gyoza: Dry, too salty, with no balance in flavors. Lamb: Tough, overly salty, & poorly paired with its stuffing. Service Issues: Staff was discourteous, passing uncomfortably close without acknowledgment. Instead of assisting, we were asked to "make room" for dishes, which felt unprofessional. Conclusion: This visit was a major disappointment, both in terms of food & service. Given past experiences, we expected much better.

A fun experience. Food was delicious & presentation was excellent. We sat at the bar, the vibe was great. Overall service is great. We had a lovely evening.Voir plus
La plus belle salle privée en ville. Parfaite pour dîners ou soupers d'affaires. Service impeccable & menu 5 services exceptionnel!Voir plus
Expect to be surprised by how beautiful simple & elegant this place looks. The furniture, finishes, decorations bars &, of course, a rooftop Montreal view is beyond wonderful. Be sure to reserve on a sunset hours to enjoy sky colors. For the cuisine: I decided to try their Snow crab, quite an expensive dish that left me confused. The crab had no taste similar to sea food, it tasted more like chicken. Be prepared to receive a nice dish presentation, but don't expect any gastronomical discoveries. Their korean style ribs as an entry for 20$ brought me more pleasure than anything else. Overall: Atmosphere worth the visit. Better experience than Les Enfants Terribles sharing the same location.Voir plus
The view of this restaurant is exceptional, ambience is great; however, the food doesn't worth the price neither the service. When you tell your waitress that you are not in a hurry & her reply is "but you only have 2 hours". You know that this service does not worth the $. In addition, the waitress left the tab on our table without us asking or saying a word is so inappropriate. It's a place to try once, but wouldn't go back.Voir plus
Amazing views from up above, good is beautiful yet delicious! Super friendly & professional staff, the exec director was also assisting with services. Loved it!Voir plus
Everything was perfect! The hostess at the door was welcoming & really accommodated us well. The guy at the bar was amazing - he even created a personalized cocktail for us based on our tastes. I also had the best Pornstar Martini I've ever had! The food was also excellent, & the restaurant had a beautiful view, making the atmosphere very cozy & inviting. Highly recommend this place for an unforgettable experience!Voir plus
