I think it is ok, but not great if you are looking for a Mediterranean experience. We had tasting menu with alcohol pairings. Service is really great. Cocktails were not to my taste, wines were good, great selection of Lebanese wines which was really nice. Food was a little of a let down, I LOVE Mediterranean food, especially Lebanese & Syrian which have amazing flavours, but the one served at Heni was rather bland. It was still good, but not what I came for. Would recommend for 5a7 style dinner but there are definitely better options for an actual Mediterranean experience.View more

Partner & I ate here for the NYE tasting menu. The food was delicious & our server was very knowledgeable & helpful. I marked on the reservation that my partner was allergic to shellfish & received a call from the restaurant letting us know that they would make sure it was not an issue with our tasting menu. Highly recommend.View more

Had such a pleasant experience. This place just opened & everything flowed effortlessly. The staff & service were great, & the food was amazing. You can then go down to the speakeasy Badin to grab a drink to wrap up the evening. There is a great selection of unique drinks. Highly recommend this gem!!View more

We started our night upstairs at Heni. Offered the tasting menu & we were blown away, not only by the food but the service. Every employee was incredible in explaining the dishes, in taking attention to us & as a picky eater, I had every thing & loved it. The desserts (the crepe especially) were incredible We then went down to the little speakeasy & had an incredible service there too. The whole experience was honestly a 10/10. The music is the perfect level, not too loud to hurt your eardrums but loud enough to groove. 100% recommend:)View more

Truly a fantastic experience. Comparable to Michelin star! The food itself is incredible - as a member of the middle eastern diaspora, I can attest to the fantastic flavours & dishes which were reminiscent of home but also honoured québécois ingredients. The braised lamb is an absolute must - completely melts off the bone. The dessert (we had blueberry ice cream in turmeric cake) is also not to skip.
Special shout out to Rami the co-partner who took the time to welcome us & explain the passion & care behind each dish & the restaurant as a whole. You made my partner & I feel like family!
