Review Summary

Reviews about Hazukido show a mix of standout pastries and uneven value, with many praising the almond and English cream croissant, the pistachio croissant, the strawberry purée croissant, the biscoff crokie, and the salmon croissant, as well as the quality of laminage and the butter-rich textures, while others report croissants that are dry, not fresh, or too pricey for what is offered. The concept and creative flavor pairings are repeatedly lauded, though the dining space is described as simple with limited seating and occasional gaps in recommendations or atmosphere, and service is often noted as friendly. Several comments reference limited menu options later in the day and a tendency for sweetness to feel overpowering, though gifts for birthdays and drinks like iced caramel macchiato or coffee and tea pairings are mentioned as positives, along with occasional high marks for overall pastry quality. Overall Hazukido is viewed as a place of excellent pastry craftsmanship and inventive flavors, but with variability in freshness, portions, and perceived value across visits.

Vraiment décevant, les'croissants' sont mou & fades. Bien trop cher pour ce que c'est

I don't think this place is that worth it. The croissant looked good, but honestly it did not taste fresh at all & was pretty dry. Not that many options available in store & they looked like they were sitting out for a while. Quite small for the price. Another thing I didn't like that much is the matcha was served with a big straw (the ones used for bubble tea). For those reasons, I wouldn't recommend

The price is expensive for what you receive & I didn't like the customer service. Go to Dessert Coréen Crofre instead. They're AMAZING!

I went on a Saturday morning & bought four croissant for about 24$. I got the Strawberry Puree Custard who was fabulous. The cream inside was perfection & the croissant itself was buttery & flaky. It went downward from there. Next one was Pistachio & the filling was so liquid, it drip on my shirt. Third one was Caramel Almond & Custard. It was good but nothing special. Last & worse one was Hazelnut Chocolate. No filling, dry, chocolate tasted cheap, & I worked as chocolatier for years, a waste of money. I could return for the strawberry one, but not for the others.

Les croissants Hazukido sont parmi les meilleurs que j'ai pu manger à Montréal. Ils ont un coût mais sont assez originals & délicieux pour ne pas y renoncer !

Strawberry English Cream Croissant - so delicious! Rich decadent cream inside a flakey croissant. Loved the freeze-dried strawberry crumble on top. The Smoked Chicken croissant was ok, not as good as the Strawberry Croissant.

Pas mauvais mais on a été incapable de me servir en français, même pas un petit bonjour. Non seulement le caissier était incapable de le parler, mais il ne le comprenait absolument pas. Il ne savait pas ce qu'était un allongé. À éviter.

Extremely tasty; when I saw all the pastries I felt like "I want one of everything". Smoothie was pretty good, can't wait to try the other drinks.

Most flavourful & interesting croissants. Every flavour I have tried has been phenomenal but the ones I keep going back to are the matcha crookie & the strawberry chocolate croissant. Service is always fast & the employees are always kind.

Cher pour ce que c'est, à 3$ le croissant au lieu de 5$, ça m'aurait un peu moins dérangé.

2-3 fois plus cher que le Tim Hortons miteux à proximité, mais 100 fois plus de qualité, service, goût.
