Review Summary

Hazukido draws a mix of praise and critique, with many praising croissants such as almond with English cream, the strawberry filled option, pistachio, and the biscoff inspired crokie, as well as well made coffees, while others note inconsistent hours, limited seating, and prices that some feel are high for the portions and freshness; some pastries are described as very tasty and well laminated, while a few reviews mention dryness, a lack of freshness, or flavors that can be too sweet. The concept and presentation are widely appreciated, and several guests mention friendly service and thoughtful touches like a birthday gift option, yet the overall impression is that value and consistency could improve. The bottom line is that Hazukido offers strong pastry quality and creative flavors, but customers disagree on precision of value and the in-store experience.

I love this one strawberry croissant with strawberry filling inside! 11/10

I went on a Saturday morning & bought four croissant for about 24$. I got the Strawberry Puree Custard who was fabulous. The cream inside was perfection & the croissant itself was buttery & flaky. It went downward from there. Next one was Pistachio & the filling was so liquid, it drip on my shirt. Third one was Caramel Almond & Custard. It was good but nothing special. Last & worse one was Hazelnut Chocolate. No filling, dry, chocolate tasted cheap, & I worked as chocolatier for years, a waste of money. I could return for the strawberry one, but not for the others.

The ice cream croissant I had (caramel) was amazing! I definitely recommend this to everyone. I also recommend the pistachio croissant, chocolate crookie & the strawberry cube croissant. Everything was fresh, buttery & the filling was flavourful! P.S. However, it seems like their croissant quality vary because when I visited last year, their croissants were dryer & missing some flavors. Also, it's on the pricier side (still a place to visit!)

Amazing breakfast spot! A great concept- croissants with savory or sweet ingredients My son loved the mango crème croissant I had the smoked chicken & cheese & my wife ate the almond They also have unique flavors like salted egg yolk, butter garlic & an assortment of fruity fillings.

Croissants are good not great. They're small for the price. The flavour/ filling could be more generous. The ice cream « cone » is a good idea but a bit plain. You can only get the regular croissant & vanilla ice cream + the flavour chosen which is barely noticeable. It's also very hard & messy to eat, would be better & an ice cream sandwich.

Too much croissant than its filling. Not returning here.
