Delicious cocktails, good music but noisy patrons, food is decent but as many reviews mention, portions are on the smaller side Additionally service is very slow... we waited 40 mins to put in our food order. We almost left because of the wait time. Same with getting the check - the waitress was nowhere to be seen.
Belle découverte dans le vieux port de montreal ! Le décors faisant appel au jardin de Singapour est accueillant & cozy. Le service a été impeccable, le serveur a su nous conseiller à la perfection & nous a traité au petit soin tout au long de la soirée ! Pour ce qui est de la nourriture, elle était bonne, ceci étant dit, asiatique je m'attendais à des plats un peu plus relevé en terme de goût(gout perso). En somme, tout était excellent. Mention spéciale à la gérante!! 🫶
The good : 1.Amazing cocktails. Try their spritz twisted with tequilla patron, amazing. 2. Music was epic all night.. kudos to the DJ. Good music can make any restaurant & bar so much more fun. 3. Spicy tofu entrance is absolutely delicious. The OK : Food was overall OK. The bad : 1. We reserved a table & arrived on time but we only got the table almost an hour later. We waited at the bar. Got compensated with a round of shots, thanks for that at least. 2. The dessert on my picture below is an abomination & should not exist. Dry. Tasteless. Sad.
Le service était excellent, très efficace & amical. Les pétoncles étaient parfaitement cuites & le pho était savoureux! J'ai moins aimé le gâteau au pandan, partiellement car il était un peu dense. Je pense qu'il n'avait pas encore entièrement dégelé puisque nous sommes allés au restaurant à l'ouverture. Or, le mélange des saveurs & des textures était bien équilibré. Enfin, l'ambiance était parfaite.

I recently went to Hang Bar, a Vietnamese restaurant, & I have mixed feelings about the experience. The first thing that struck me was the charming aesthetic of the place, it's beautifully designed & visually pleasing. The service was also on point, with attentive staff. However, I did encounter a significant downside during my visit - the loud music. It was so deafening that I couldn't even hold a conversation with my friend. While the music itself was enjoyable, I felt it was a bit overbearing, especially given that it was 10 pm, & I presume they wanted to create a lively ambiance. Moving on to the food, I had a bit of a hit-&-miss experience. We ordered the ribs hai hau, which had a generous portion for $19, but it felt like it needed something on the side to make it a complete meal. The banh mi fois gras was a disappointment; it was exceptionally small, not even 6 inches, & priced at $22, which felt overpriced for what you got. On the bright side, the Da Nang fried wings were delicious, but they proved to be a challenge to eat gracefully in a setting that seemed more suited for fine dining. Where Hang Bar did shine was in their cocktails. The cocktails were top-notch, & if I were to return, it would likely be for the drinks. In summary, Hang Bar is a cute spot with a great aesthetic, good service, & fantastic cocktails. However, the loud music, mixed food quality, & pricing for some dishes make me hesitate to return for a full dining experience. If I were to go back, it would be only for a cocktail outing.
Nice decor & tasty food. Our cocktails were able to be made virgin & still tasted great. The reservation was for two hours so I recommend looking at the menu before coming so you're ready :)
Le cadre est tout simplement splendide, l'ambiance est magnifique, le personnel est d'une attention exceptionnelle, & la cuisine est tout simplement délicieuse. Que pourrions-nous demander de plus ? Merci infiniment de nous avoir si bien accueillis

Food was very ok compared to the price you are paying I would say not worth it. The chicken wings were definitely the star of the night. The scallops & ribs were really good too! The entres were yummy but were followed by mains that missed the mark for me. The bone broth soup was a bit bland & had too much oil/fat. I was surprised by the open faced banh mi foie gras, it was good but I would have preferred it served traditionally, it felt like there wasn't enough bread. The curry was delicious as was the fillet mignon main. Overall, it felt a bit over priced for what it was & didn't inspire me as a place I'd want to come back to for dinner.
Tried this place twice & had a great experience on both counts. Beautiful dreamy decor, the food is excellent, drinks are really nice always with a touch of fabulous. Service very attentive & friendly. Worth every $. Please keep up the good work! :)
My wife & I went to this beautiful place while I was as in town for a conference. Decor is beautiful, attentive service & such flavourful food. Marco was an awesome server. We will be back
I reserved a table for my birthday supper & all I can say is that every aspect of my experience was top notch! The food was perfectly curated to fit the theme they embody, with amazing flavour combinations that pleasantly surprised me. The drinks were very unique & delicious, especially the one with popping boba in it (which I’ve never seen done before in a restaurant!). Not to mention, the place is gorgeous & definitely worthy of taking photos. Special thanks to Marc-Olivier the manager who made us feel welcome & took great care of us all night. Would definitely recommend Hang for those looking to celebrate a special event or just to go have a drink!:)

J'ai essayé le Hang avec une amie & nous avons beaucoup aimé. Les plats étaient tous très bons (il y a seulement le tartare de saumon qui avait peut-être un goût trop prononcé de poisson, tout le reste était très bon). Nous étions assises au bar & notre serveur Marco était vraiment super! Marco est une perle rare comme serveur, très attentionné, il connaît très bien son menu, en gros vraiment un très bon service (nous avons aussi bien aimé le choix de sa musique pour le restaurant) Merci Marco
We had a great time at Hang Bar thanks to our excellent server, Cass! The food was very good, better than it seemed in the reviews I saw on Google. I recommend the ribs. The wings were good but a little too sweet for me. The fried rolls were good too. & the coconut flan was really delicate & not overly sweet. The prices are honestly acceptable seeing what restaurants are charging these days. There was a DJ & the music was great. The sound system made a difference since the speakers were hanging from the ceiling (not behind your head). The vibe was good. People were enjoying their food, the music, & the cocktails. I didn't try their cocktails but they had a few special ones on the menu. Next time!
