Food is great, serving speed good too, ambience & atmosphere is also great. Excellent beef & the desserts were amazing. Portions are good too as they are big enough to get the experience but small enough to leave room for other dishes. The barbecues have built in smoke extractors so no unsightly cumbersome overhead vacuum system & no smells! Only thing is prepare your wallet as the price comes with it!View more

You cannot go wrong eating at Gyubee. Nice high quality food, scissors are offered to cut meat if that is desired. Drinks are huge. Guaranteed good time especially with friends. I recommend reserving in advance as they're always packed ☺️View more

Vous aimez le BBQ japonais? Je vous recommande Gyubee, situe au plein centre-ville pres du metro Guy-Concordia. Les viandes sont bien marinees & coupees, le service est rapide, la ventilation du restaurant est bien agreable, les aires communes, les tables, les chaises & les toilettes sont bien nettoyees & propres & les postes de travail des serveurs sont bien organises & maintenus. Je vous recommande d'y aller du lundi au mercredi car c'est bcp moins chers & pas d'attente necessaire. J'aimerais bien voir au menu plus de choix de legumes, des moules, de plus grosses crevettes, des fruits de saisons pcq au menu il y avait seulement les ananas. A la commande, nous avons choisi le bibimpap (le riz n'etait pas chaud) les pieuvres (ne semblent pas fraiches la texture etait desagreable) & les takoyakis (trop de farine aucune garniture @ l'interieur) alors nous etions tres decues. Heureusement, la creme glacee molle @ la vanille & la creme brulee ont gagne notre satisfaction @ la fin du repas. Bravo @ l'equipe de Gyubee Mtl! Very Disappointing Service at Guybee Montreal. While the food at Guybee Montreal is undeniably great, the service was a huge letdown. From the moment we tried to get the waiter's attention, we felt dismissed. When we politely asked for his help, he replied with a rude "I don't have time right now." Later, when I asked about ordering a plate of onion, instead of offering a simple "Sorry, we don't have that," he sarcastically told me, "Bro, look at the menu." The worst part was when we were still eating, & the waiter shoved the Interac machine in our faces before we were finished, clearly rushing us out. To top it off, they no longer accept credit cards-only cash or debit. Overall, the food was good, but the poor service really soured the experience. I won't be returning.View more

I came here on Monday with my friends, & it was amazing: despite it being quite busy, our waiter was very patient with us & helped us very thoroughly. The meat is very well cut, well-portioned, & very soft. The seafood & side dishes were also amazing. I'll definitely come back!View more

I can only give it a 3-stars because it's not really a Japanese grill lol This is more of a Korean BBQ, so when I came in here for the first time, I was incredibly disappointed by the menu options. I thought, for once, a Japanese BBQ place! Nope. It's NOT Japanese, & it shouldn't be marketed as that. Aside from some meats being marinaded in miso, you're serving kimchi, bibimbaps, ssamjang sauce with lettuce wraps... If anything, you could MAYBE market it as a fusion Japanese-Korean BBQ. Seriously. Secondly, the ordering system just seems very inefficient. Having to wait for your server every. single. time. so you can order. Inefficient & cumbersome because you will always have to search for them & get their attention.View more
