An all-you-can-eat japanese buffet! Gyubee is by far my favourite grill spot in the city! We got there 40 mins before last call & they still took us, no wait, giving us a table right away!!!
The meats- flavourful, tender. Awesome. Personal faves are briskets & short ribs. Rice was decent. Good selection of veggies although I would add a bit more greens. Ice cream is ok. Creme brûlée lacks flavour. (We're not here for desserts anyway) Selection of sojus are great. Our waiter was awesome, giving good recommendations. Fast service. Polite. We will for sure be back!!

Decided to grab some Korean BBQ with friends during lunch & this place was awesome. The all-you-can-eat setup is great when you're hungry, & everything came out quick & fresh. Service was solid-staff checked in often & swapped out our grill without us even having to ask.
One thing to watch out for if you have a nut allergy like I do, most of the marinades & sauces contain peanuts. I told the staff right away & they walked me through what was safe. Really appreciated how seriously they took it.View more

The service is so efficient, the quality of the food is top tier, & for the same price as any other grill!

I went for lunch with my family & we were seated quickly. It was clean & efficient & very toddler-friendly! Our toddler was highly amused by the robot that brought food to our table. The meat was high quality & came quickly. They also cleaned our grill two times. Hannah our server was great; so incredibly kind & super at her job. We will definitely go back!View more

I can only give it a 3-stars because it's not really a Japanese grill lol This is more of a Korean BBQ, so when I came in here for the first time, I was incredibly disappointed by the menu options. I thought, for once, a Japanese BBQ place! Nope. It's NOT Japanese, & it shouldn't be marketed as that. Aside from some meats being marinaded in miso, you're serving kimchi, bibimbaps, ssamjang sauce with lettuce wraps... If anything, you could MAYBE market it as a fusion Japanese-Korean BBQ. Seriously. Secondly, the ordering system just seems very inefficient. Having to wait for your server every. single. time. so you can order. Inefficient & cumbersome because you will always have to search for them & get their attention.View more

I had an extremely satisfying dining experience! The quality of the meat was excellent, especially the beef short ribs, which are my favorite. I also really enjoyed their Korean-style bibimbap. The service was thoughtful & attentive-the staff were quick to change the grill plates for us & promptly cleared the empty dishes. Additionally, the server, a young man with a warm smile & a pleasant voice (I believe his name was Edmond), made the experience even better. It's super busy here so take reservations if you don't want to wait. lots of types of cut of meats from beef lamb to chicken. good quality meat! def recommend. cost is between $40 weekdays to $44 on weekends.View more

BBQ grills cook way too slow & you only get an hour to eat as much as you can. Problem is the grill cooks to slow so is it really all you can eat. Robot brought us our food which was neat & the meat had lots of flavour. ? if I would go back as bbqs cook to slow & no sushi served with the meal. We did have a party of 5 so two bbqs would have made more sense.View more

As a first timer at this establishment, I was very happy & satisfied with the quality of the food & rapidity of service from the staff. I especially loved the salmon that was served in a small aluminum dish that has to be cooked for 5 minutes on the grill. I also loved the marbled, prime kalbi & other beef dishes found on their menu. As much as I love the restaurant's cat shaped serving robots & QR code menu, I would still have liked to have a physical menu available. Overall a great & fun dining experience!View more

We had a good experience, come here for dinner on Friday & all you can eat is 43.99$/ person , limited to 2 hours seating. Food is great & good portion & service is fast too. For me the menu is feel like Korean rather than Japanese grill. No reservation here only if you are a group of 6 & more .View more

Look...I love eating...Z the waiter & other was amazing...the food was ok ...but the fire was great ...Ssamjang only sauce that not good in QC people love stupid sauce even if not Japanese...great only miso cheap for that 44$ dinner no tempura no ramen ...grill raw chicken wings that crazy too..but the quality was ok dessert was ok crème brûler ...soft ice-cream was no Creamy sweet maybe cheap one ..so if you go you juge ...bon appétit LolView more

If you love all you can eat BBQ restaurant. Then you absolutely need to try this place out! The food quality when I was there was absolutely great! The meat was flavorful & juicy. The service was fairly quick & they were also attentive about changing the grill as often as needed.
Only difference from this place & other all you can eat bbqs is that you have 2 hours for your meal, which is plenty of time. Especially since ordering & receiving your food is done fairly quickly.View more
