Such a lovely restaurant! The food was fresh & flavorful, & every roll was perfectly balanced. The place has a nice, cozy vibe?perfect for a date or a chill dinner with friends. Service was quick & friendly. 10/10 experience!

I had a wonderful experience at Gyoka Izakaya Sushi Bar in Saint-Lambert. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, & full of flavour. The sushi rolls were outstanding, & the hot dishes were just as impressive.
The atmosphere is warm & welcoming, perfect for a casual dinner or a special night out. The service was also excellent-attentive, friendly, & quick. You can really feel the pride they take in their work.
Le meilleur sushi de la rive-sud!!! Le hamachi jalapeno est un incontournable. Une vaste selection de rolls plus orginaux les uns que les autres. Avec un service soigné & intentionné quoi demander de mieux!
I went to have supper with some friends for a special occasion. The restaurant has a very cozy & comfortable ambiance, you feel at ease right away.
We had multiple appetizers, but the jalapeno hamachi was by far the most incredible thing i had eaten recently. The rolls are unique, but traditional enough you don't feel lost.
The service staff is young, funny & makes you feel at ease.
I cannot mention enough how the quality of the products is incredible & can be felt & tasted through every bite.
I was in this area of Montreal last week & I was craving some sushi, decided to stop in here on a whim & it turned out to be some of the best sushi l've had in a while!. Staff sat me right away & service was quick. The miso soup was so flavorful & was the perfect amount & their shrimp tempura roll was delicious as well, very filling. I would definitely come
back if I'm in the area again
Absolutely loved our experience at Gyoka Izakaya Sushi Bar! The ingredients were incredibly fresh, & every dish was bursting with flavor. From the sashimi to the rolls, everything was beautifully presented & tasted amazing. Don't miss the black sesame ice cream - it's rich, creamy, & the perfect way to end the meal. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience at Gyoka! The service was super good, & the food was creative & delicious! My fav was the rock & roll #1 (assorted raw fish wrapped in cucumber with yozu sauce), tuna tataki & the black sesame ice-cream (so so amazing)!!! The grilled octopus was great too. Staff were super patient & explained the menu. Highly recommend!! Reasonable pricing too (around $50-60 per person).
After a long search & almost giving up, I finally discovered a great sushi restaurant in the Montreal region that offers a great variety of Sashimi. All of the sashimi were fresh & full of flavour. Next time I'll try more of the sushi rolls as well. It was relatively affordable compared to what you can find on the Island.
Really fun & cozy place. All sushi made to order & portions are large. Rolls are bigger than usual. Very authentic. Sake is available on tap & for cheap. Great small place. Make sure to reserve! Limited seating!

I love the place. It has delicious food, lovely atmosphere, & great service. Pizza sushi & special rolls were amazing. The sesame ice cream is a special thing to try here.
