I mean its not a bad place. Im just too picky with my food. Also for the price i expect a little bit more fresh. The owl beer was very very unique & good.
Im just comparing this japanese resto vs japanese resto ive had in south shore, i mean its definitely better than franchises but its mid.
Such a lovely restaurant! The food was fresh & flavorful, & every roll was perfectly balanced. The place has a nice, cozy vibe?perfect for a date or a chill dinner with friends. Service was quick & friendly. 10/10 experience!

I had a wonderful experience at Gyoka Izakaya Sushi Bar in Saint-Lambert. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, & full of flavour. The sushi rolls were outstanding, & the hot dishes were just as impressive.
The atmosphere is warm & welcoming, perfect for a casual dinner or a special night out. The service was also excellent-attentive, friendly, & quick. You can really feel the pride they take in their work.
This was the best sushi I have ever had in Montreal! The sashimi in particular was very fresh & my favorite item on the menu. I will definitely be back!!

This is the most fresh sushi I've had in a very long time. The quality of the sushi is top-tier rivalling & out performing all the'high-end' sushi restaurants. I love the large assortment of sushi they offer.
Amazing sushi place! I really like the platter which they call it Sashimi Mix, it is beautiful & colorful. I have to tell you that it is the best presentation I have ever seen. The chef's choices are really fresh & tasty. I strongly recommend the Salmon Belly Sashimi & Sea Urchin Sushi which are my favorite!!always great?
I think this is the worst sushi restaurant, worse than the cheap sushi buffet restaurant! Food is not fresh, the taste is terrible, the grilled chicken is raw, & the beef sushi (actually tuna) is really special, Anyway, the sashimi is not fresh, while the cooked food is as fresh as if it was just taken out of the refrigerator.

Absolutely loved our experience at Gyoka Izakaya Sushi Bar! The ingredients were incredibly fresh, & every dish was bursting with flavor. From the sashimi to the rolls, everything was beautifully presented & tasted amazing. Don't miss the black sesame ice cream - it's rich, creamy, & the perfect way to end the meal. Highly recommend!
A gem in the sushi scene of the South Shore, this restaurant offers exceptional flavors. The fresh seafood & perfectly cooked rice create an unforgettable dining experience. The restaurant is clean & comfortable, with elegant background music & warm, attentive service. The house specialties are especially recommended-each bite is a delightful surprise!
