The service is excellent, the food is delicious, I ordered mixed grills, it was excellent, & I ordered a lamb & chicken tagine, it was delicious, but the portion size is small for the price.
Absolutely Delightful! This was our first visit to Günaydin. I had seen a reel on my Facebook feed about their traditional Turkish breakfast. On this occasion however we were there for dinner, we were a group of four. We were not disappointed! We were warmly welcomed. Looked forward to our meal. A nice selections of entrées: we had the ezme, the haydari & sarma. All accompanied with fresh warm bread! Our mains consisted of Adana kebab, kofta kebab & chicken brochette. Portions are generous! The food was fresh & delicious. & to round it all out, kunefe accompanied with tea for dessert. All in all a sumptuous feast! we had the opportunity to speak with one of the owners/manager Very cordial! . We look forward to returning, the next time for their breakfast

Thankful we reserved a table because it was packed full. Once we got seated, we were shown what was popular & we took the shared mixed meat plate that came with two dipping sauces & bread along with a Turkish tajine & a beyti kebab. It was tasty but at the same time average. It had nothing special & we thought the spices that should have been present was very mild. Their main dishes were the most enjoyable. What was disappointing was the baklava & the kunefe. The service was fine & have to chase them a bit to get something.
Overall, it's enjoyable but average.
Hands down . The BEST Turkish restaurant in Montreal . I went to Turkey a few times in this one is Very authentic . The meat was fresh , exactly similar to Damas restaurant . It was tender & just savory. I HIGHLY recommend you to take the special grill for 2 or for 4 . Portion was very generous & pricing is very reasonable. Just wow ! & very very clean place, service is excellent .
Delicious, the restaurant itself was beautiful & clean, service was excellent, the food was delicious we ordered Adana kebab & lahmacun & both were perfectly done , I look forward to trying everything on their menu.
J'ai vraiment aimé se restaurant & en plus leur pizza 3 fromage était vraiment bon avec le fromage bien garni, & l'ambiance était bien surtout qu'il y avais un homme simpatique & avec une bonne ambiance

Tout était extrêmement délicieux & frais, la nourriture était très bien préparée, c'était délicieux & le boulgour était merveilleux. Le service était rapide & propre, tout le monde était sympathique & sympathique, l'environnement est génial & très propre, c'est maintenant mon restaurant préféré, je reviendrai certainement, merci, Gunaydin restaurant 💯💯💯

The best Turkish food in Montreal. I was visiting from Toronto with friend. Searched this restaurant without any recommendation but it turn out to be the best place. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. The owner himself is a very friendly person. 5*****
We live nearby but today first time to try it! Such a pleasant surprise! Beyond the delicious dishes the manager & the waitress are very cheerful! We will come back!
Overall experience was welcoming & the restaurant is beautiful. The food was decent but could use some work.
The adana kebab was very good but the chicken skewer isn't that great to be honest. It was chewy & was full of fat. Maybe use chicken breasts next time for your skewers. We also found the rice to be tasteless & the salad had a strong parsley taste to it. A bit is ok but too much is too much.
The desserts tasted good & fresh.
The one thing that shocked us was the pricing. 24.99 for a chicken skewer plate is pretty high. Most items are pretty expensive to be honest. We paid 250$ for 5 people & we were trying to not spend too much. 3.99 for a homemade ayran is very expensive. We can get a bottle of ayran for less at many places.
Overall, its an okay restaurant.

I've been living in Montreal for 10 years & have visited many restaurants. I can confidently say that the food & baklava I've had here are the best in Montreal! I'm a baklava enthusiast & have tried it at most baklava shops in Montreal. What I had in this restaurant is indescribable-so fresh & warm, served with a delicious tea. The owner is incredibly customer-oriented; he came to the tables to welcome us & asked for everyone's opinions about the restaurant & the food. The staff is excellent as well, & the restaurant's space is very large with beautiful decor & layout. I wouldn't get tired of coming here even every day. I will definitely return soon for breakfast, as this restaurant is famous for it!
Je vis à Montréal depuis 10 ans & j'ai fréquenté de nombreux restaurants. Je peux dire avec confiance que la nourriture & les baklavas que j'ai mangés ici sont les meilleurs de Montréal ! Je suis un passionné de baklava & j'ai essayé dans la plupart des boutiques de baklava de Montréal. Ce que j'ai mangé dans ce restaurant est indescriptible-si frais & chaud, servi avec un délicieux thé. Le propriétaire est très à l'écoute des clients ; il est venu aux tables pour nous accueillir & a demandé l'avis de tout le monde sur le restaurant & la nourriture. Le personnel est également excellent, & l'espace du restaurant est très grand avec une décoration & un agencement magnifiques. Je ne me lasserais même pas d'y venir tous les jours. Je reviendrai certainement bientôt pour le petit-déjeuner, car ce restaurant est réputé pour cela !
