If you've never been to Turkey but dream of experiencing its authentic flavors & atmosphere, this restaurant is absolutely the place to go. I've tried many Turkish restaurants, & Günaydin is truly the one that stands out. The food is delicious, the vibes are fantastic, & the staff is incredibly kind & attentive.
I recently invited my colleagues for an Iftar there, & everyone loved the experience. They even mentioned they would definitely come back. Thank you to the whole team for your dedication & hospitality.
We loved our experience as a family of 5 - wonderfully authentic, warm & friendly service & atmosphere. Delicious kebabs, tajine & pide & generous portions. Turkish coffee absolutely delicious!

I've visited several Turkish restaurants outside of Turkey, & this is by far the most authentic. The food, the people-everything feels genuine. Just try it & be amazed.
Absolutely amazing brunch experience. The food presentation was stunning - everything looked so beautiful & almost cinematic laid out on the table. You could tell a lot of care went into every detail.
The flavors were even better than the presentation. Fresh, authentic, & perfectly seasoned. Every dish was delicious & satisfying.
A wonderful dining experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic Turkish flavors, & beautifully presented. The service was warm & attentive, & the atmosphere made us feel truly welcome. Gunaydin is a place I would gladly return to & recommend without hesitation.

The meats are well seasoned & cooked nicely, especially the kebabs, which are flavorful & satisfying. Service is friendly & welcoming, & the atmosphere feels warm & traditional. While there's still a bit of room for improvement in consistency during busy hours, the overall quality, taste, & value make this place worth visiting. A solid choice for anyone craving good Turkish cuisine in the city.

The food was outstanding. Every dish came out fresh, hot, & full of flavor. You can truly taste the authenticity & care put into each plate. The meats were perfectly cooked, tender, & well-seasoned, while the sides & salads were fresh & balanced. Portions were generous without feeling excessive, & everything was presented nicely.
Authentic cuisine, the food was very good. Shout out to Kahina. She was amazing & she's one of the best workers there I recommended to whoever comes to town, best food & service.
,Guys ; the real authentic Gunaydin restaurant is in Istanbul , the second branch is in Dubai near Burj Khalifa - This one in Saint Laurent is a fake , not legit & you don't get value for your money - not at all - We went three days ago for a breakfast -We we were a group of six - If you want to have a folkloric breakfast , you will enjoy it - but to have a good breakfast & value for your money, don't even think about it - It is terrible - rip off - for each one of our group , it cost 33 dollars plus taxe - paying so much for nothing ( for cheese , marmalade , nutella , tea etc ) absolute RIP-OFF also , sweet Kneffe ; was awful - as well - So guys - very bad disappointment - tasteless - THE quality of food doesn't justify the money you pay for it - FIRST & LAST TIME - NO MORE ...
I visited Restaurant Günaydin today, & I have to say, this place truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the warm & inviting atmosphere instantly set the tone for a great dining experience. The ambiance is elegant yet comfortable, & the staff is exceptionally professional. They were attentive, friendly, & made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. Special thanks to brother Miran for accomodating our needs.
Now, coming to the food, absolutely outstanding. Every dish was packed with rich, authentic flavor, & you could immediately tell that only fresh, high quality ingredients were used. The meats were incredibly tender & juicy, grilled to perfection with that signature Turkish taste that stands out from the rest. Even the sides & bread were fresh, well-seasoned, & complemented the dishes perfectly. The portion sizes were generous, making the overall experience even more satisfying.
Overall, Restaurant Günaydin delivered a truly memorable dining experience. Whether it's the taste, presentation, service, or ambiance, everything was top-tier. This is definitely one of those places that makes you want to come back again. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy delicious food with excellent hospitality.
Nice & clean, bigger than it looks from outside & the staff are welcoming & very attentive. Went with a group of friends for breakfast, & although it was nice but it certainly was not as we anticipated... for starters there was nothing Turkish about it... it was a mix of Middle-eastern & Continental...
A plate of omelet & another with sunny side up eggs plus some cheeses, olives, honey, butter & jams that you may have at home or find at your neighborhood grocery store.
We expected a Turkish breakfast with traditional flavors beyond just the eggs with sujuk...
I would say the breakfast was overpriced for what was offered & I wouldn't recommend this place for breakfast, but I promised to go try their pies & kababs to see how authentic they are...

Authentic Turkish cuisine. Excellent food & service. Top tier ingredient quality. Most things seem homemade, including jams! Very very delicious food. You WILL come back again.
I had brunch at Gunaydin Restaurant & it was amazing! The flavors took me right back to Turkey! From the fresh bread & pide to the delicious sharing plates. I loved the traditional Turkish tea pot in the center, such a special touch. The restaurant is beautiful, & the chandelier in the middle is definitely the highlight. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Turkish food & a great atmosphere!
Authentic Turkish breakfast that makes me feel like I'm back home in Istlanbul! I highly recommend everyone to try this spot at least once, especially as a family or a group!
Hands down . The BEST Turkish restaurant in Montreal . I went to Turkey a few times in this one is Very authentic . The meat was fresh , exactly similar to Damas restaurant . It was tender & just savory. I HIGHLY recommend you to take the special grill for 2 or for 4 . Portion was very generous & pricing is very reasonable. Just wow ! & very very clean place, service is excellent .
