Had such a great experience at Gunayd?n last night! Bayram was incredibly warm & welcoming; he made us feel comfortable from the moment we walked in. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, & full of flavour. You can really feel the hospitality & care throughout the whole experience. We'll definitely be back!
Since its open we come here & its always same taste & great service so fsr best turkish restaurant in montreal
Little Turkey 🇹🇷 in ville saint Laurent , everything was amazing from the moment we walked in
Gunaydin was a phenomenal experience. I am an avid fan of Turkish cuisine & try new restaurants in this category often, but Gunaydin shone above the majority that I have tried in Canada between Montreal & the GTA in Ontario. First of all, the space is large & comfortable. It is nicely decorated but not overdone. I really like that they have a sink outside of the toilets so you can wash your hands without waiting for someone to finish in the washroom, which happens frustratingly often at restaurants. The restaurant is kept very clean.
As for the food, the menu is large & boasts a number of uncommon selections such as the Turkish mezzes. Their larger platters are served on some beautiful dinnerware, but we were only three so we did not order that although I saw it on another table. The presentation of our dishes were still fantastic, you can tell they pay attention to that here. The quality matched the looks-fantastic meats, tasty bulgur- everything was a hit, including the delectably cheesy Sujuk Pide.
Service from the ladies that served us was fine. The man with the AP that took our payment was very friendly, however. He might have been the owner. I highly recommend this restaurant as someone who is very familiar with Turkish food.
The restaurant was very busy & we called last minute for a table for two. Thankfully, they still managed to accommodate us despite all tables being full & a lively crowd enjoying the food & atmosphere. Everything was perfect, every dish we ordered was a pleasant surprise. We'll definitely be coming back ⭐?
Un très bon restaurant. La nourriture est excellente & l'ambiance est très conviviale.
The food was delicious, the service was great & the prices were fair. I will definitely be a repeat customer.
A bit far, but 100% worth it. The food is amazing! Saw it all over TikTok & it actually lives up to the hype… & of course, chicken wings own my heart 🍗❤?
The two brothers who own & run the place know what they are doing as this is not their first rodeo. Easily the best Adana Kebap in town 🙌🏼 Ask for their spicy sauce, & for the real spicy lovers🌶? make sure to try the green charcoal-grilled peppers that come with your kebap to get your kick. Service can sometimes be slightly hit & miss, but it's usually good.
Really crowded place & always busy even though food is mediocre. I keep giving it a try since I'm close by but always leave way too soon & can never stay since it's not baby friendly or disable friendly either. management is terrible at dealing with situations. Some servers are super sweet but for some reason are busboys instead, whereas the ones that answer the phone who are more client facing are rude.
