Greenspot Restaurant is a true gem with a rich history dating back to 1947. This iconic spot has been serving delicious comfort food for generations, & it never disappoints. I ordered the smoked meat omelette & chicken brochettes, & both were exceptional. The omelette was perfectly prepared, loaded with flavorful smoked meat, while the chicken brochettes were juicy & perfectly seasoned. Typically, we visit the green spot for breakfast. However, on this visit we chose to go for lunch. I'm not sure if everyone's trying to make up for losses during covid, but to charge $9.75 for a BLT sandwich on White bread is just a bit excessive considering the majority of the sandwich was a large hunk of iceberg lettuce & 2 slices of bacon. Additionally, to charge $9.75 for a mini Poutine seems also a bit over the top.Voir plus

J'ai récemment visité ce restaurant & j'ai commandé plusieurs plats : lasagne, poutine & pâtes. Sans aucun doute, la lasagne était la star du repas ! Elle était absolument délicieuse, bien gratinée & pleine de saveurs. Les portions sont généreuses, parfaites pour les gros appétits, & les prix sont tout à fait raisonnables. This is the spot for a great Montreal Poutine. The best gravy in town! Sandwiches are great too, I usually take the smoked meat sandwich. Service is pretty good (although a bit slow at times because it's always super busy!) & the vibe is awesome! It takes you back to the good old days. Totally recommend.Voir plus

Classic Québécois diner serving wonderful poutine (27 varieties) & smoked meat sandwiches among other classic diner eats. The Classique is a perfect poutine with dark rich gravy & perfectly squeaky cheese curds. Best gravy in town. I would recommend the medium smoked meat sandwich also.
