Classic Québécois diner serving wonderful poutine (27 varieties) & smoked meat sandwiches among other classic diner eats. The Classique is a perfect poutine with dark rich gravy & perfectly squeaky cheese curds. Best gravy in town. I would recommend the medium smoked meat sandwich also. A must visit when in Montréal.View more

I went to Greenspot last week for lunch. The place wasn't too crowded, the service was fast even tho a waiter forgot about me once & the plate was huge. I ordered the club sandwich which came with a LOT of fries, a cup of gravy, a nice portion of coleslaw along with a slice of pickle & marinated red pepper. The club sandwich was big, had lots of chicken, tomatoes, good lettuce & crispy bacon. My only complaint about the dish is that there wasn't enough mayo in the cup they gave me for the whole thing so at the end I was dipping the sandwich in the gravy. Oh & the meal came with a good chicken & noodles soup along with a coffee & dessert. I didn't have the dessert because I was very full after the soup & the meal. A first good experience.View more
Super cool & old-school, I would say this is the best poutine in Montreal. I highly recommend the St. Henry Witch, which comes with pieces of steak. One important thing that caught my eye is that their fries are not soggy & are real fries, not the pre-made ones.View more
Amazing diner with cute vintage vibes & smoked meat sandwiches! Highly recommend the jumbo platter.View more
I give Greenspot a 5 star because of their smoked meat...absolutely deliciousView more
Oldies but goodies. Like traveling in a time machine almost 80 years back to the past - 1947. Food was good, comes with a healthy & delicious Greek salad. Had lamb cotelettes it was good, & the fanta drink was fantastic. Side note, they have some sort of old school jukebox at the tables not sure if it works, I thought it was a toaster at first sight.View more
A Montréal institution for Montrealers. Service is always good & food is great for the price.View more
This is a wonderful place to have classic Québécois comfort food in an authentic diner that reminds you of the 50's, including the little juke boxes at every table, the booth style seats, paper place mats & fountain drinks. The food is simple but very good, the prices are reasonable & the small staff do their best to please everyone. It is what it is & it does it well.View more

We grabbed 2 classic poutines to go. Tremendous, flawless, can't recommend enough!View more
Went in for a poutine, got poutine, I had no prior experience on it so I guess it was good & perfect but just not for me. Service was great, the atmosphere was really an authentic diner experience so highly recommend if you like that. Nathans hotdogs looked delicious & one member of our group spoke highly of them. Wine/beer selection was a bit small but I guess they arent the main attraction there.View more
