I only had a few bites of my poutine as the fries were horrible, undercooked & possibly old. None of the waitresses, despite seeing my almost untouched plate, even bothered to ask for feedback. Sadly, this is a dying institution.
Good authentic diner wither simple diner vibes, laidback, don't expect anything fancy (don't come up with intolerances but there are options for all) but real & genuine people coming in & out for the simple food, not the place to chill for hours. Service is fast & the food is good. I prefer breakfasts in general but they do have a mean poutine that will scare away a 5 days old hangover & smoked meet is good.
Lovely spot. Service was SO nice. Food hit the spot & portions were huge. I had a lasagna on the express lunch menu, it came with a soup, dessert & coffee all included. Will be back!

You know what you want & you're gonna get it here. It's classic, it hits the spot. Service can be hit or miss but just relax, enjoy the vibe & some top-tier casse croute grub.
This is such an amazing place! I have been here 3-4 times in the past year & had a good experience everytime. It is a classic diner. Reminds me of New York. Very cozy, home-like feeling. The food & service is great.
They also have some off-menu items but you have to ask. From the menu, every egg based item is great. The pancakes are also soft & fluffy. Every time I try something new & enjoy it.
I have only come here for breakfast or brunch. Never lunch or dinner so I have no idea what that is like.
The only small negative is that they do not take a reservation. So the wait time can sometimes be more than 15 minutes.
Un resto typique des années 50', avec de la vrai bonne bouf, des belles grandes assiettes & surtout une variété de spéciaix du jour avec soupe & dessert. Mais aussi avec un service à l'ancienne, politesse, service prompt & souriant. Ton grand verre d'eau se remplit s'en que sois obligé de demander. J'habite à 200 km & chaque fois que je vais à Montréal, j'ai toujours hâte de me retrouver dans ce restaurant.

I came in yesterday with my 2 kids & husband .We love this place ! The food was very good as always!!!But today we had our server (Yola) ,She insisted for us to take drinks but we didn't want to ,she looked at us with a weird look like we don't have money to spend…She proceeds to make us feel like she is on a hurry & wants us to leave for the next table to come eat I felt very uncomfortable by the way she was rushing us to pay & leave …She also was screaming on the nice gentleman that cleans tables .She then comes to us to tell us how annoying he is after we ask what was happening & was making fun of him I find it very unprofessional of her . I always come here sometimes alone & the nice gentleman (not sure of his name) always greet me with a beautiful smile ! He didn't deserve to be yelled at especially in front of customers .I hope the managers get this checked because it's not the first time I see her yell at other of her employees friend.
Friday nights. Dinner alone. Lots of people. Never alone. Staff is so nice. My go to for a burger & fries on a Friday night. Walking here from Lionel easy.
