So many times passing nearby & I never stop. So now it's time to try it. Lot of people talked about their poutine, but I'm also a burger guy. So... a burger & a small classic. The Maximus was solid, heavy & tasty. Patties (2) a bit dry, but still very good. Poutine, made with homemade fries, was very good. I like my poutine with a lot of sauce, when the last fries still had sauce left to cleaned it with. & dripped of the fries.

I was in town for a business trip & noticed this place was conveniently located near my meeting, so I decided to give it a try. Since it was my first visit, I went with the classics: a lean Montreal smoked meat sandwich & a small poutine. I also asked for extra pickles.
The cashier was friendly & even commented that I had made a great choice. While waiting for my takeout order, I got a good feel for the restaurant-the atmosphere was welcoming, & both the staff & customers seemed genuinely friendly.
The smoked meat sandwich was outstanding. The meat was tender & flavorful, & they were generous with the pickles, which were crisp & delicious. The poutine was a little on the salty side for my taste, but it was still very tasty.
I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town, & I think I'll be trying one of their famous hot dogs.

It's a cute diner inside that has done well in keeping it's classic aesthetic in good condition. A must go place for poutine-lovers. True classic Quebec cuisine.

Walking into Greenspot feels like stepping into a classic, timeless diner. It has a fantastic vintage ambiance, retro charm, & a lively, welcoming energy.

I ordered the Deluxe Plate for breakfast-two eggs, a pancake, & three meats. The food arrived at the table piping hot, incredibly flavorful, & hit the spot perfectly for a hearty morning meal.

What truly sets this place apart, though, is the exceptional hospitality. The staff was incredibly welcoming, smiling, & provided lightning-fast service despite the classic diner rush.

An absolute masterclass in the classic Montreal diner experience.

Exceptional food, nostalgic vibes, & flawless service. 10/10, easily a 5 out of 5 stars!

Classic Montreal style diner. You don't find them like this much anymore. Good pizza, sandwiches, & they have daily specials which are the best value in the area! Love their Greek food.

Overall, their staff is awesome, & the food is always solid. I would say that it's a local classic for Poutine, it's a must try if you're here for the authentic Montreal experience. Most of my experiences have been great, if you're getting the poutine trust me you only need a small unless you're trying to feed a family or a small dinosaur. Also, some great Italian & Greek items on the menu..

I have been here many times & always get great service & good food. The atmosphere is the best version of a classic diner. The prices continue to be great value, despite everything. It can't be easy to maintain such consistency over so many decades & somehow, Greenspot is always a pleasure to visit.
