Classic greasy diner from the past. It's not perfect & it can't be because that is the charm. Small booths, faster servers & a hard working line cooks.

It's a classic dinner experience. I found the service to be excellent & the food & menu spot on. Had a great Western omel6, egg whites only & than was not a problem & came on a big plate & plenty items on the side.

It's a Montreal Classic ! Y'a ce côté dinner vintage classique qu'on ressent en entrant. Un endroit dont j'avais déjà entendu parlé, j'ai beaucoup aimé le vibe & l'ambiance. On a bien été accueilli même si ça a pris un petit temps pour être assis à une table. La bouffe était super bonne, la poutine délicieuse, le steak parfaitement cuit.. On va y revenir! Une adresse à garder!

Honestly as good as any casse-croûte/deli I've had over the year, these guys have been doing it up for almost 80 years strong & still killing it. We love @greenspot1947 so much they catered our midnight meal for our wedding. Truth be told I order wayyyyy to many steamies, but they were delicious, so worth it the rest we gave out late at night to the homeless 😉.
They have it all from traditional classics like the smokemeat sandwich & poutine, to souvlaki plates, pizzas & Pasta, they got something for each craving honestly. Nice spot that the decor hasn't changed in years & god whiling they keep it that way. It adds to the charm & history of a place like this!

I tried the Le Florentine breakfast dish at Greenspot & it was absolutely delicious! This twist on classic eggs Benedict features perfectly poached eggs on toasted English muffins, topped with creamy hollandaise sauce & fresh sautéed spinach. The eggs were cooked just right-silky yolks that oozed over the dish-& the spinach added a nice earthy flavor that balanced the richness of the hollandaise.
The side of crispy breakfast potatoes was seasoned well & complemented the dish perfectly. The portion was generous, leaving me fully satisfied without feeling overly stuffed. The coffee was fresh & robust, rounding out the meal nicely.
Service was quick & friendly, even during the busy breakfast rush. The cozy, casual atmosphere made it a great spot to start the day. If you're a fan of eggs Benedict or just looking for a hearty breakfast, Greenspot's is the spot.

Greenspot is an institution & the brunch always slaps. The vibes are great for a classic diner, & the service is usually very quick. The fruits are fresh & the service is friendly. Waffles recipe has changed & they are now sweet Belgian waffles (not to my preference but objectively delicious if you like those). Would recommend to anyone visiting Montreal, or any locals who haven't swung by in a while. You won't be disappointed!

Had a great experience here. I had the burger & poutine - the burger was really, really good, & the poutine was solid, no complaints. What really stood out was the service - the place was packed when we came in, but the guy working there still managed to find us a table & was super cool about it. The vibe is also awesome - it's got that classic diner feel with little jukebox machines on the tables. Just a cool spot all around. Definitely worth checking out.

Close to the metro so it's easy to get to even in the cold winters, with warming service to welcome you. The food is always prepared fast.
