We ordered Gino's Lasagna, which had a generous amount of meat & cheese, but it wasn't very impressive in terms of taste. The tuna tartare combined with apple mousse was extremely sweet & had an odd taste, & the fish didn't taste fresh, unfortunately. Additionally, the focaccia was extremely salty. It's unfortunate, but we wouldn't come back.
Super great experience at Gino's. My wife & I both got the vegetarian lasagna & some fun drinks. Drinks were awesome & lasagna was delicious. My wife wasn't the biggest fan of lasagna before Gino's but this experience changed her mind! Service was super fast - almost too fast in that we wanted to stick around for longer because it was so cute. We also got the tiramisu & it was delicious!
J'avais hâte d'essayer ce restaurant & suis sorti un peu déçu de l'expérience. Fan de negroni, le classique est très bien mais les sbagliato & svegliato très décevants (dans le svegliato le café tue absolument tous les arômes). Nous avons pris la lasagne Gino's, certes bonne mais pas renversante non plus. Service très long, nous avons facilement attendu plus d'une heure pour avoir nos lasagnes (nous étions 3). Enfin, déçu par l'ambiance, très hype, moderne, un peu impersonnelle (y compris le service), je m'attendais à quelque chose de plus authentique.
My friend & I gave this new restaurant a try & it was overall really good. The star of the show was of course Gino's lasagna. It was absolutely delicious & melts in the mouth. The drinks were also good but personally I did not enjoy some of the appetizers. We had the tuna tartare as well as the salmon carpaccio & they were average. The focaccia & the olives however were great! Overall great atmosphere & great prices
Meilleure lasagne végé que j'ai mangée dans ma vie! Si c'était possible, j'irais chez Gino tous les jours!! Aussi, staff super sweet queer friendly & belle ambiance!

10/10 recommend Gino's. The service was fast & efficient, & the atmosphere is perfect for an intimate dinner. My partner & I each tried the classic « Gino's » lasagna, & it was delicious & fresh. The size was a bit on the smaller side so I recommend getting an appetizer with it, or just another piece to share. I also had the Latina drink, which was very tasty & well made! I will definitely be coming back :)
I dined at Gino's with my family & we loved the experience! The classic version is a true taste of tradition (the best lasagna in Quebec hands down), while the vegetarian lasagna with rich & delicious layers of perfectly roasted aubergines offered a great alternative. Pairing it with one of their expertly crafted Negronis was an absolute delight. The ambiance was beautifully cozy, setting the perfect mood for a memorable dining experience. The service was impeccable, making me feel welcomed & attended to throughout the meal. Gino's is definitely a must-visit for lasagna & negroni lovers & anyone seeking a great dining experience in Montreal.
En un seul mot : Wow!! Nous y sommes allées un samedi soir & avons partagé à deux le carpaccio de saumon, la burrata, une lasagne Gino's & une Alla Norma. Les assiettes sont bien équilibrées, la fraîcheur des aliments au top & leur service est cordial & impeccable. J'ai adoré la déco (big up aux che vuoi au mur 😆) & l'ambiance. Super soirée. On y retournera définitivement & avec des renforts pour goûter le reste de la carte!!
After a much anticipated wait - this place did not disappoint! We ordered the "Gino Lasagna" accompanied with some entrees & amuse bouche. Drinks were the "Latina" & they were all delicious. So much flavor packed into a beautiful square of lasagna. Our waiter "Alfred" was awesome! Very accommodating, polite & catered to our every need! Can't thank him enough & the owner for a wonderful night out & dining experience! I will be definitely be returning!

The atmosphere of the restaurant was very lovely. However, my friends & I all got extremely ill after sharing three lasagnas (the classic, the vegetarian, & the vegan option). We had nothing to eat after that would have upset our stomachs & nothing besides brunch a few hours earlier. However, almost immediately after eating at Gino's, I believe we got food poisoning. One of my friends was especially violently ill & was in bed for the whole day afterwards. I haven't seen other reviews mention this, but this was the case for us. My friend called, but was never put through to a manager despite requesting.
Cet endroit est parfait pour les amateurs de lasagne & de Negroni (littéralement le paradis). La lasagne était absolument fantastique, la meilleure que j'ai goûté à Montréal sans hésiter. Le service était génial, nous avons été traités comme des clients VIP toute la soirée. L'ambiance est parfaite & la déco ainsi que le branding adorable. Le seul poin un peu négatif qui ne mérite pas d'enlever des étoiles est que les Negronis ne sont pas aussi fort qu'en Italie. Normalement après un Negroni c'est possible de ressentir les effets de l'alcool alors que chez Ginos même après 3 mon amie & moi étions tout à fait normales.
I love this place, It is my third time here! I tried the 3 different lasagnas & yum. The Gino's one is my favorite. I love how this place can turn from a very quick bite on the bar to a long night with friends.
What a delightful rollercoaster of flavors & experiences! The bourbon Negroni was a masterpiece, a drink so well-balanced it's practically a work of art - kudos to the mixologist. Now, let's talk lasagna. It's like a journey, starting with the anticipation, a bit like waiting for a surprise party to kick off. The tomato sauce? A symphony of taste, but initially not quite warm enough - a minor hiccup, easily forgiven. & that elusive bechamel, playing hide & seek, leaving me longing for more creaminess. Yet, as I ventured further into the lasagna labyrinth, it unveiled its charms, becoming a rediscovered delight. Uniformity, oh sweet uniformity, where art thou? Despite the initial quirks, the end result won me over. Consider my expectations challenged, but not entirely disappointed. The ambiance at Gino's, however, is a winning charm. A perfect setting for intimate gatherings, it whispers of Italian minimalism in a sea of red. & that espresso, a solo performer, not an ensemble - surprising, but not unwelcome. I left with a caffeine-infused grin, contemplating my inevitable return. Looking forward to another rendezvous with Gino's Negroni & Lasagna! Cheers

I had such an amazing experience at Gino's with friends!! The place is so cozy, the food is absolutely amazing & the portions are perfect. The focaccia is to die for & a must try :) The service is extraordinary, we were so well treated by Julien & Fred!
