Overall good experience. Had the smoked meat sandwich plate. Generous portions. Smoke meat taste was decent. Quiet & very clean seating areas. Was a bit pricier than expected cause the menu screenshots uploaded are old, but not more than most other places- cost me $30 for the plate & a canned drink.

2025 update: still incredible! Just get medium fat & everything is butter smooth! Very very good smoked meat & fries, was there a couple of hours ago, definitely one of my best spots in Laval. Prices are similar to other places. They was a fat smoked meat sandwich, the fat isn't hard, it melts, absolutely delicious 🤤 always!

Would I dare comparing it to Schwartz? Definitely close second & no lineup! I took a party meal for 4 & the portions where generous.

Excellent Smoke meat, pas tout à fait comme Schwartz mais aussi bon. Service rapide, nourriture chaude , salade de choux & frites excellentes également. Le cornichon était assez ordinaire toutefois. Le hic, c'est l'ambiance! c'est simple il n'y en a pas, c'est assez ordinaire à l'intérieur, sombre & ennuyant, pas de service aux tables. On commande en entrant & on attend qu'il nous fasse signe. Si vous y allez pour déguster un excellent smoke meat, vous ne serez pas déçu...mais oubliez l'ambiance.

The smoke meat was tasty but not the best I've had. I didn't know that you order at the counter & your food is served on a cafeteria brown tray. The fries are frozen fries. The decor, well there is none to speak of & outdated. For the price they charge, I'll go to their competitor that's almost next door forthe same price. Won't be returning.

Odered from Georges Deli for the first time yesterday & wow... Smoke meat is very tasty & tender, generous portions for the price!! Better than most places that sell smoke meat!

If you like Schwartz's Deli you will love george's. They're Almost identical. Medium fat sandwich is the move. Get the plate served with fries, coleslaw & a pickle. Reasonably priced for quantity & quality. 8.5/10. Edit: I reordered recently & I change my rating. Just amazing! *9.1/10*

Best smoked meat à Laval ! La viande est fraîche, juteuse & délicieuse. L'humble extérieur cache en fait une bonne adresse cachée que seule les habitués connaissent. Je recommande de prendre'medium/fat' pour le goût. Le service est toujours efficace. 🫶❤?

Smoked Meat made & Smoked inhouse. Just as good as that other place & no crazy line ups. George's son's run the restaurant. Nice guys. The sandwich was stacked !!!

Oh my god, have a medium fat sandwich & simply enjoy! The sandwich is filled with more meat than competition, the flavors are very very similar to Schwartz's. I couldn't have guessed blindly. The good news is that I don't have to go to Montreal anymore :) Friendly staff!
