Delicious gnocchi in a bowl made of fried dough! Handmade ravioli were also delicious with a simple sauce. Mixed salad was a good size portion with very tasty foccaccia.Voir plus
I live in Little Italy close to this recently opened restaurant & decided to drop in for a light dinner. The pizza (contadina) was very good - loved the crust. There's quite a wide selection of pizzas, including some daily specials. The server was welcoming. I'll be back.Voir plus

Exceptional little restaurant. Let me start off with the ambiance. It's a perfect small place, where you can have a conversation with someone. The music ain't loud & there won't be a ton of people yelling. Comfortable chairs & cute decor. The service my wife & I got was incredible. Well explained information regarding the menu, friendly & he would always make sure you had everything you needed. The food was fresh, tasty & the quantity was way more then I bargained for. The dough from the calzone is some of the freshest I've ever tasted. The mortadella & pistachio pizza was incredible. Peroni beer was a major + as well as the tiramisu tasted authentic. Amazing!! Great & affordable food! I absolutely loved my experience at Gatto Nero. The staff was super nice & friendly. The overall ambiance was cozy & romantic. I love it when you can see your food at the table & hear each other talk. Now, most importantly: The Food Homemade Italian Food Chef Pierpaolo knows what he's doing. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. Fresh ingredients, cooked to perfection. Everything has its own flavor. I love Italian food & this definitely hits the spot! Very nice atmosphere great service & delicious food prepared to perfection. We started with burratta caprese the suppli a la romana & the homemade meatballs as appetizers. All were very well presented & tasty. The main dishes did not disappoint. The gnocchi served in a light focaccia type bread bowl was delicious & the pizzas were great!
