Le designer Jacques Gaspo du groupe Foodtastic (derrière La Belle & La Boeuf, Souvlaki Bar, Carlos & Pepe’s, Le Blossom, les nouveaux Nickels et Bacaro Pizzeria) a développé Gatto Matto pendant deux ans. Un concept révolutionnaire et avant-gardiste Art Déco à thématique flower bar qui est une fusion entre Chicago et l’Italie. Utilisant des matériaux premiums dessinés et fabriqués à Montréal, l’alliage des éléments se marient à merveille. Des couleurs vives et éclatantes donnent un facteur WOW qui vous ferait sentir comme dans un hôtel moderne de Milan avec une touche girly. La création de la cuisine à aire ouverte encore jamais vu à Montréal (en collaboration avec Hagop Hagopian, directeur des opérations Foodtastic et expert en design cuisine) permet de voir à l’œuvre les meilleurs chefs de la région. Pas besoin de voyager, on vous amène l’Europe à votre table.

Last night, we went to the restaurant with a reservation of 7 people. We arrive & the hostess is trying to fit 3 men & 4 women in a 6 person booth, that's right infront of the dj booth, next to the area where servers are constantly passing for utensils & croutons. We asked to sit at the table across, & the hostess goes'no it's only for 8 people' she then says she can put a chair at the end of the booth or sit us on bar stools when we had a disabled person coming with us. The hostess tried multiple times to say'the booth is for 7 people' meanwhile other staff members that served us water were coming to us asking'are you 6 tonight?' Which clearly means the restaurant was trying to squeeze another person in the booth. I proceeded to point out to her that 3 other guests were sitting in the same style of booth that she wanted to seat us at were shoulder to shoulder & looks uncomfortable. The hostess proceeds to call me rude after she tried to gaslight me into accepting a high traffic table area while squeezing in an extra person at the booth. Thank god we didn't eat there as I enjoyed a nice dinner else where, where I actually at elbow room to enjoy my meal.
This restaurants strong point isn't food, it's clearly aesthetic & vibes, so by trying to shove 7 people in a very small booth it automatically ruined the experience.
We went to Gatto Matto for my boyfriend's birthday & overall it was a really great experience. The food was honestly so good, like actually worth the hype. Everything we tried tasted amazing & was well done.
The vibe is definitely lively. It does get pretty loud, so it's not the best spot if you're looking to have long, quiet conversations, but if you enjoy a more energetic atmosphere, it works really well. It kind of feels like a mix between a club & a restaurant, but with genuinely good food.
The place itself is super aesthetic, & even the bathrooms are really cute, which just adds to the whole experience. Overall, it's a really nice spot for celebrations, birthdays, or a fun night out if you want good food & a vibrant atmosphere.

Went to Gatto Matto before a concert & it was packed but somehow the service was still super quick. The vibe in there is amazing, really cool atmosphere. Food was seriously tasty, drinks were great, & prices were better than I expected.
Huge shoutout to Charles our waiter, he was awesome. Super friendly, on top of everything, & just made the night better. Definitely coming back for brunch sometime soon!
The place is beautiful & the vibe is very nice. Just keep in mind that on weekends, after 8pm it gets extremely loud with the DJ. If you want a more quiet evening, get there earlier in the evening. My biggest issue is the menu: There is very limited choice, & every meal that I have tried has tasted bland.... definitely to be improved.
Wasn't expecting much; but the food was very good. The vibe felt more like a sports bar & we were seated next to a large & noisy group which was pretty annoying.
Food is amazing, the vibe is always great, nice touch with the DJ on the weekends. Staff is great, always amazing service with Celine! That' why I keep going back!
Great location & atmosphere-highly recommended.
This spot offers a relaxed & casual Italian dining experience. Portions are smaller, but the flavour & service are consistently good. The vibe is laid-back, making it an easy choice for any occasion.
If I'm staying in Laval again, I'd definitely come back.

The service here was honestly amazing. Everyone was super friendly & seemed like they actually cared about making sure I had a good experience. The food was fresh, tasty, & way better than what you usually expect from a fast food place. You could tell the staff took pride in what they were doing, which made the whole visit even better. The place was clean, the vibe was great, & everything just felt easy & welcoming. Definitely one of the best fast food experiences I've had - I'll for sure be coming back!
We recently visited Gatto Matto in Laval, & while the experience wasn't bad, it didn't quite live up to our expectations compared to the Boisbriand location. The atmosphere in Laval was nice enough, & the staff were friendly, but the food didn't impress us as much as we remembered from the Boisbriand location. The dishes we tried felt a bit lackluster in comparison-some of the flavors were flat, & the pasta didn't have the same freshness we enjoyed at the Boisbriand spot. Overall, while the Laval location wasn't terrible, we definitely prefer the Boisbriand Gatto Matto. The food there seems more consistent & flavorful, & the vibe feels a bit more inviting. We'll be sticking to Boisbriand next time, but we hope the Laval location can improve to match the high standard set by the other one.

Great food, great service team, awesome vibe, first time I have tried this place, I am in the area often, is my new favourite spot! Tried the Octopus & Brussels Sprouts, both were terrific!
I loved everything about this restaurant! So convenient to the Courtyard by Marriott, at Place Bell. The vibe is funky like a restobar & they have a dj some nights. Highly recommend the grilled octopus, brussel sprouts, prosciutto pizza, pistachio tartufo, & nutella bomboloni. I will be trying to copy the first three, they were amazing!!! Generous wine pour too on our Sangiovese. All smiles leaving Gatto matto.
Had an amazing time tonight!!! Amy was our waitress & she was so attentive to everything & everyone. She gave us an amazing service, her smile & good vibes are contagious... thank you for everything Amy!!!!!!
The restaurant vibes are amazing - fresh, clean & trendy - food is ok however not wow- could be muchly elevated in term of taste while presentation is nice - the only dish I loved was the pasta - had a pasta , pizza & appetizers & dessert - value for money is very good -service can be improved - more menu knowledge is required
Love this spot. I've been a couple of times & it never disappoints. The place is vibey & their litchi martinis are really good! I usually go for their shrimp pizza (super delicious). Their steak & salmon tartare are also pretty good!
