Gr8 spot for dinner & drinks after an event at Place Bell.
Our hostess Béatriz & others were so attentive & welcoming.
Would have loved to sit on the patio or the main area but we didn't have a reservation so we were delighted to get a table.
Thank you Gatto Matto, looking forward to being back soon!

This is a vibrant place. Waiter Mikael was so attentive to our satisfaction, he asked & returned a few times before we ordered as we couldn't make up our minds. We had an issue & this was resolved rapidly by management. My interpretation of management wanting restaurant to succeed. Kudos to them. Service today has unfortunately diminished in many establishments & when a turnaround happens, we need to say bravo to them & give them return visits.

Good Italian restaurant with decent menu for a birthday dinner.

The host was attentive to our needs, drinks were kept topped off & friendly to
Boot.

I ordered the pistachio burrata spaghetti & don't let the portion size deceive you. I was very full after & found the portion generous.

I want to add that the fries were a letdown. These were oil-logged. & after a few bites I couldn't have anymore. Also, while I found the prices for everything on the menu very reasonable, I found it was overpriced for the fries (not including the fact that our plate of fries was untouched because of the oil).

For the dessert we had the Nutella bomboloni. Delicious & was one of the better bomboloni I've ever had.

This place had the music turned up way too loud. It's a mix of popular 2000s hits retuned to a dance beat. While it was nice to hop to a dance version of'smooth operator', this made conversation impossible. & I do recall leaving with a headache.

I was at Gatto Matto on a Sunday afternoon, working as a photographer for a private event.

The service was exceptionally good; the entire staff is very attentive, professional & pleasant.

The location was clean & attractive.

To top it off, although I was busy working, I was given a complimentary pizza to take home & enjoy. I'm really happy because it was delicious. Tasty topping with a crust that was extraordinary.

Thanks for the pleasant experience! I really appreciated all your effort.

You should be proud of your restaurant.

My wife & I visited Gatto Matto Laval on February 15, & I wanted to take a moment to share our experience. I've been here before, & every visit reinforces why this place is so special.

From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm & inviting, with a spotless interior & convenient indoor parking. The staff is incredibly welcoming, making you feel like a VIP from start to finish.

The food? Absolutely top-notch. Gatto Matto delivers consistently outstanding quality, taste, & presentation. From the fresh bread & vibrant salads to the perfectly cooked pasta, steak, & expertly crafted cocktails, everything is exceptional in both quality & value.

A special shoutout to our waiter, Nuno, who provided fantastic service with a friendly & attentive approach. He truly enhanced our dining experience.

What I love most about Gatto Matto is how it encourages me to explore new flavors. Their creative & well-balanced combinations have introduced me to tastes I wouldn't have tried elsewhere.

Without a doubt, this is my favorite restaurant. We'll definitely be back soon!

I had an incredible dining experience at Gatto Matto! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was vibrant & stylish, with a perfect mix of modern & classic Italian charm. The service was outstanding-our server was friendly, knowledgeable, & attentive without being intrusive. The food was absolutely delicious! Every dish was beautifully presented & packed with flavor. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauces were rich & well-balanced, & the ingredients tasted fresh & high-quality. The cocktail menu was also impressive, with creative & well-crafted drinks. To top it all off, the desserts were divine! The tiramisu was one of the best I've ever had-light, creamy, & full of flavor. If you're looking for an unforgettable Italian dining experience, Gatto Matto is the place to go. Highly recommend & can't wait to return!

Amazing experience! We had heard so much about this place but never had a chance to go. I can honestly say it's one of the best if not the best restaurant in Laval! We were a group of 6 so we decided to share the octopus, endive salad, the brussel sprouts chefs special & the lamb chops as appatizers! Every single bite was to die for! I had the Filet mignon & it was cooked to perfection & the mash potatoes with the smoked mozzarella was just heavenly! Service was spot on! The waitress was very attentive & took good care of us! I cannot wait to go back! Highly recommend if your in the Laval area!

My husband & I came for our anniversary & we really loved it, from the service to the food everything was excellent, the place is very beautiful & the staff is very kind & attentive, Thomas was excellent & Ara was very cordial with us. We tried the fries with parmesan cheese as a starter (the portion surprised us, much bigger than we imagined & they were delicious), for the main course we ordered the spaghetti with lobster & wow it was so good, the portion was again very generous & for dessert we had brownie a la moda it was a gift from the owner for our anniversary (that made us feel soo special)😍 we will definitely come back many more times!

I hosted my bridal shower at Gatto Matto (laval), & it was an absolutely wonderful experience! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The food was simply amazing-every dish was delicious, beautifully presented, & met with rave reviews from all my guests. The variety & quality exceeded our expectations. The service was exceptional as well. The staff was attentive, friendly, & made sure everything ran smoothly. They went above & beyond to accommodate our needs & ensure we had a memorable day. I couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion. Thank you Ara for making my bridal shower unforgettable.

The food was tasty & their alcoholic beverage (sangria) was a treat. Our waitress was friendly enough but service could have been more attentive. The restaurant itself is nice with its decor but it is way too dark! I had to bring the menu extremely close to my face to read it. Also, the music was obnoxiously loud as there was a DJ. We could not converse even with the person sitting next to us. We felt like we were in a nightclub. We saw waitresses taking shots with the patrons as well. Not very professional. I wouldn't recommend coming here as a family or with kids.

What truly set this restaurant apart was the impeccable service. Our server Matt was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, & exceedingly courteous. They expertly navigated us through the menu, making tailored recommendations that suited our tastes & dietary preferences. Their attention to detail was impeccable; from remembering our names to ensuring our glasses were never empty, their efforts greatly enhanced our dining experience. Thank you Matt for your service! The staff moved seamlessly around the bar area, anticipating needs without intrusion, a level of coordination & grace that was nothing short of impressive. It was evident that they took great pride in their work, embodying the essence of hospitality. Moreover, the management's presence was notable. They circulated the bar, engaging with guests, & ensuring everyone's experience was nothing short of perfect. This level of care & attention from the top down really highlighted the restaurant's commitment to excellence in service. In conclusion, the dining & bar experience was elevated to extraordinary heights by the exceptional service. It's rare to find a place where the staff not only enhances the meal but becomes a pivotal part of the experience. Dès mon entrée, j'ai été accueilli par un service incroyable. Caroline, notre serveuse, était excellente. En ce qui concerne les plats, je dois dire que la lasagne 50 étages était tout simplement divine, elle était parfaite. Le tartare de saumon était également exquis, d'une fraîcheur inégalée, idem pour les calmars. Quant au dessert, les bouchées dégustation étaient un véritable festin pour les papilles. Tout était parfaitement orchestré, de l'entraide entre les serveurs à la présence attentive du gérant/directeur/propriétaire, en fait j'ignore qui ils étaient. Ce que je peux dire c'est qu'ils ont contribué à rendre cette soirée spéciale, je pense qu'il est juste de reconnaître le dévouement de toute l'équipe. Noter que malgré le restaurant complet, le service n'a jamais faibli. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant.
