Le designer Jacques Gaspo du groupe Foodtastic (derrière La Belle & La Boeuf, Souvlaki Bar, Carlos & Pepe’s, Le Blossom, les nouveaux Nickels et Bacaro Pizzeria) a développé Gatto Matto pendant deux ans. Un concept révolutionnaire et avant-gardiste Art Déco à thématique flower bar qui est une fusion entre Chicago et l’Italie. Utilisant des matériaux premiums dessinés et fabriqués à Montréal, l’alliage des éléments se marient à merveille. Des couleurs vives et éclatantes donnent un facteur WOW qui vous ferait sentir comme dans un hôtel moderne de Milan avec une touche girly. La création de la cuisine à aire ouverte encore jamais vu à Montréal (en collaboration avec Hagop Hagopian, directeur des opérations Foodtastic et expert en design cuisine) permet de voir à l’œuvre les meilleurs chefs de la région. wowe destination à l improviste avec aucune réservation on a eu 2 places en première loge pour mon amour qui raffole de ce plat on etait face aux fours à pizzas....& la pizza fût delicieuse ! employes super sympathiques & souriants autant la serveuse que les cooks en plein rush ! bravo a toute l'équipe !

C'était un mercredi soir, j'ai emmené mon copain pour son anniversaire. C'était top! C'est un super beau resto. L'ambiance est géniale. Par contre la dame qui nous servait n'avait pas vraiment l'air dans son assiette 😅 ça se voyait que c'était la fin de la journée & qu'elle voulait rentrer chez elle. Autrement tout c'est bien déroulé. Service assez rapide. La nourriture était pas mal! J'ai pris les pâtes carbo elles étaient bonnes mais sans plus. J'ai préféré sa pizza lol, excellente. Les frites aussi géniales. Overall belle expérience, je pense bien y retourner pour goûter de nouvelles choses! Je recommande.

Edit: I changed my review from 1 start to 4 stars because the manager of the restaurant contacted me & solved my problem to some limit.
I value this gesture greatly & would be interested to maybe go back & try something different trusting that my experience would be better.

I did not enjoy my experience in Gatto Matto
While the restaurant has good staff & nice ambiance - the pizza was horrible, I ordered the Carnivora Pizza which was too salty & when I advised the waiter he only moved his head like he doesn't care. I do NOT recommend this place.

Pasta portions are very small for the price I payed. Pizza was good but was not impressed by the pasta. Was expecting a decent sized bowl for the price but when I saw it come I was shocked by how small it was & was still hungry after my meal.

Gorgeous restaurant with excellent food (I really enjoyed the Pizza with Prosciutto Di Parma). 🍕 Our server, Veronica, was very kind & knowledgeable about the menu. We reserved last minute for a group birthday party & they were very accommodating. We all had a really great time! Paid parking available around the area. Buon appetitio 😀 🍝

Food was good was decent . The pizza was too doughy on the crust. The appetizers was the star of the meal very crispy & perfectly cooked calamari. The pistachio pasta was also pretty good. The fior di late tagliatelle was very basic something that I was expecting to be a lot better. Our server was amazing explained the menu well kept our water refilled. The atmosphere on the other hand was not great, the music was super loud, to speak across the table we had to almost yell. Ended the night with Tylenol for a headache. The music could lowered a little bit & it would be a perfect evening.

The table we reserved was given to us later than our booking time,so the host send us some free pizza as an appology.
However, I absolutely loved this place! The food was delicious, full of flavor, & beautifully presented. The atmosphere was warm & dynamic, & the service was excellent. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great dining experience!'

J'ai été souper avec ma famille au Gatto Matto. L'endroit était propre & moderne. L'ambiance était très agréable.🤩
Nous avons pris en entrée la burrata, la pieuvre & les calmars frits. Nous avons ensuite pris comme repas principal le steak du chef, les pâtes, la pizza & le poisson du jour. Chaque assiette fut EXCELLENTE! Très belle présentation & les saveurs étaient au rendez-vous.
Je tiens aussi à souligner le service hors-pair de notre serveur Mickael!

I was at Gatto Matto on a Sunday afternoon, working as a photographer for a private event.
The service was exceptionally good; the entire staff is very attentive, professional & pleasant.
The location was clean & attractive.
To top it off, although I was busy working, I was given a complimentary pizza to take home & enjoy. I'm really happy because it was delicious. Tasty topping with a crust that was extraordinary.

I loved everything about this restaurant! So convenient to the Courtyard by Marriott, at Place Bell. The vibe is funky like a restobar & they have a dj some nights. Highly recommend the grilled octopus, brussel sprouts, prosciutto pizza, pistachio tartufo, & nutella bomboloni. I will be trying to copy the first three, they were amazing!!! Generous wine pour too on our Sangiovese. All smiles leaving Gatto matto.

My burrata salad was the highlights. The pizza was a little too salty,the calamari very peppery. Desserts are very good. The music is very loud, be ready to scream. So much was happening that it makes it fun to people watch.

Great choice if you're going to Center Bell or not. The staff was friendly & quick to take our orders. They have a varried drink menu as well as their food menu. Delicious Italian food! If you like calamari, tartares, pasta, pizza, & parmesan fries, then go eat there. The portion size of the main dishes isn't big, but the quality is spot on! The fries were a large amount & mouth watering!
