On a vacation with friends we stayed at the Auberge du Vieux Port & dined at. Gaspar twice. The ambiance & convenience couldn't be beat.

Good food, friendly service & nice atmosphere, in general. We tried foie gras, pan-fried salmon, stripped bass & some oysters (2) with a battle of a light Cinsaut & finished with couple of desserts & espresso (all about 250 CAD + tips). Next day we came back for grilled octopus, thon tartare & some more oysters (4) with a battle of Pinot Grigio (all for 150 CAD +tips).
All diches were well performed with the nice presentation as well.
So overall - nice place, good food, reasonable prices.View more

Déception marquée: pas de soupe à l'oignon. La protéine du plat est parfaite. Nous avons commandé la bavette & le hamburger. Bien assaisonnés & cuisson excellente pour les 2. Les goûts sont excellents pour les 2. Les accompagnements: peu. 2 asperges & 2 tomates raisins pour la bavette de mon épouse, sans frites ou salade. Pour ma part, on m'offrait salade (jolie & goûteuse)ou frites (très bonnes) ou alors un peu des deux. En choisissant un peu des 2, la portion de frites était déficiente. Cependant, en demandant plus de frites, notre serveuse, avec grand plaisir, nous en a rapporté une corbeille pleine (sans coût supplémentaire). Agréable service (pour les 2 personnes qui nous ont servies à tour de rôle). Voilà!View more
