i wanted to try this new location because i love mae sri comptoir thaï next to mcgill. i'll be honest, i was a bit disappointed with the food. the spring rolls looked like they were taken out of the freezer & placed in the oven. the papaya salad was good but nothing wow. i also had the chicken green curry. although the curry had a great taste it was a bit too sweet for me & the chicken was overcooked. however, the atmosphere is really nice, we had a great hue on the bar & the waiters were really welcoming. i will not be coming back to this location in the future. but that doesn't mean i will not be going back to the one next to mcgill.View more

Très très décevant. Nous sommes venus souper mercredi soir 18 septembre pour une occasion importante. La nourriture était correcte, les cocktails très bons & originaux & le restaurant très beau. Par contre, le service était EXTRÊMEMENT mauvais : * Aucune indication de menu après nous avoir assis (le QR code n'était pas sur la table). De plus, nous avons attendu longtemps juste pour de l'eau. * Beaucoup de personnes sont arrivées après nous, mais ont eu leurs cocktails, voire leur nourriture, avant nous. * Nous avions pris deux entrées & deux plats principaux. La première entrée est venue seule après plus de 40 minutes d'attente. Après indication à la serveuse, elle nous a ramené 10 minutes après un des plats principaux, & non l'entrée qui manquait. Nous lui avons encore indiqué le problème, & la deuxième entrée a suivi après peu. Nous avions donc deux entrées sur la table & un des deux plats principaux. * Une fois le dernier plat arrivé, la serveuse a pris mes couverts & mon entrée que je venais de finir & n'est jamais venue me donner de nouveaux couverts, seulement suite à ma demande. * Les cocktails sont arrivées en derniers donc après plus de 1 heure après avoir passé la commande. Bien que la serveuse était nouvelle, cela n'excuse pas le fait de ramener des plats séparément & de ne même pas se rendre compte de ses erreurs, elle avait l'air plus ennuyée que désolée.View more

Nice calm ambience, we sat outside. We enjoyed being surrounded by the plants/greenery while still being in the middle of downtown. Food was great, we ended up liking what we ordered, & the portions were generous (Hainanese chicken & Baa Mee Moo-we recommend either, the latter is a bit more unique, though). We were served by Tom & service was prompt & attentive, but not overbearing. I thought the iced Thai tea could've been a bit more generous portion-wise for the price, but it tasted great nonetheless. desserts were presented nicely & tasted great, we recommend both the sticky rice & the tapioca pudding. Will definitely come back for another date night.View more

Belle terrasse, le "garden room" à l'intérieur est aussi très bien décoré. Les toilettes sont propres & stylées aussi! Les plats sont bons, belle présentation, portion juste correcte. Ce n'est pas un coup de coeur mais un restaurant qui mérite sa place pour une envie de bouffe thaï en ville à prix raisonnable.View more

The atmosphere is fantastic during the evening, definitely recommend going on a quieter evening to enjoy a calmer experience, especially on a date. The staff was very accommodating. The food is definitely heavy, & I recommend going for one of the popular dishes which tend to be their best selections. The drink selection is good too, but it's hard to pass up a good Thai condensed milk tea or coffee. Overall considering the location, its a nice time.View more

I am very sorry that after my vacation I go to places that unpleasantly surprise me. I came here last Monday with my friend & the service was just terrible, the girl came very rarely. Despite the fact that there were only three tables. We waited even for glasses of water for 20 minutes. She said something about it being her first day, I sincerely hope it is the last. Oh, they even gave us the check incorrectly, as we asked for, accordingly. I will never come to you again in my life. Horrible. It is a pity that such a beautiful place has such bad service. I will give credit, the food was delicious, but food its only 50% of success, friends.View more

Beautiful place with delicious food! We had the Set Tum Tad, Thai fried chicken, & shrimp Pad Thai. All three dishes were excellent, made with fresh, authentic ingredients. The service was very friendly, & the waitstaff were attentive. We had a wonderful night!View more

Great hidden gem. No signage outside. Just look for the "garden" by the sign for pizza hut. Food was fantastic, ambience was lovely. Service a little slow, but they were under staffed. Definitely recommend based on food quality & atmosphere.View more
