Step into Restaurant Gandhi and the cobblestone streets of Old Montreal give way to the fragrant spices and the aromatic flavours of the Asian subcontinent. Traditional Indian music plays as you dine, providing a gentle serenade to accompany your meal.

Unlike most indian restaurants, you will feel like you're dining al fresco: soft light, bistro-style tables with crisp white lines, and the yellow walls with their window-like cubby holes recall a sunset over the Ganges half a world away. We love Indian food & this place was ridiculously delicious. Our waiter had great suggestions. He even custom made me a mocktail that I won't forget. Great service, charming ambiance & amazing food. Highly recommend.

For me it's all about the flavor of the food & the blend of spices. My gold standard the Indian restaurants in London & Gandhi was on par with them. Food taste & service was great! Highly recommend Gandhi.

I highly recommend this elegant & tranquil environment to enjoy a perfect mix of the best that Indian cuisine has to offer. Very professional & courteous service. Wonderful cuisine & I will keep on bringing guests here from out of town to enjoy an evening of Indian culinary expertise.

Visiting Ghandi was a memorable experience. Our party of 4 was expertly guided through the menu & all the dishes were delicious. Tandoori chicken, lamb passander, vegetable biryani, okra, & garlic naan. The flavours were distinct & beautifully balanced. The service was attentive without being too much & the atmosphere relaxed & welcoming.
A gem in the heart of old Montreal & a welcome change from French bistro fare. Highly recommend!

It is hard to say that this might be the best Indian restaurant in Montreal. The menu is comprised of dishes from all over India. Must tries are the Lamb Tikka Rejalla, Tandoori Chicken & their fantastic vegetable dishes. The service is also great & the staff are available to answer questions & suggest dishes. Highly recommended!
