Step into Restaurant Gandhi and the cobblestone streets of Old Montreal give way to the fragrant spices and the aromatic flavours of the Asian subcontinent. Traditional Indian music plays as you dine, providing a gentle serenade to accompany your meal.

Unlike most indian restaurants, you will feel like you're dining al fresco: soft light, bistro-style tables with crisp white lines, and the yellow walls with their window-like cubby holes recall a sunset over the Ganges half a world away. Les plats sont savoureux (nous avons choisi des thalis) & le service aux petits soins : serveur disponible & agréable, pas besoin de faire appel à lui pour être réservis en eau. Il est agréable d'avoir une nappe & des serviettes en tissu.

Avec l'application'too good to go' en take out, nous avons connu ce restaurant. Première fois nous avons reçu du poulet au beurre (photo). La deuxième fois c'était du poulet tandoori, ça sentait tellement bon qu'on n'a pas pu attendre & vous avons manger dans la voiture sans prendre les photos, désolé.

Cette fois-ci parcontre, lorsqu'on a vu leur présentation à l'intérieur, on a vraiment envie d'aller manger sur place la prochaine fois.

Waited 1 hour for our food, had to ask twice for water, then they charged it 7$ on the final bill. The service is bad, & the prices are also very high for what you get. I don't recommend at all!

Souper du jour de l'an, il faisait 17 degrés dans le restaurant. Le serveur nous a dit que le chauffage central était en rénovation. On a dû garder nos manteaux d'hiver pour manger. Le service était très long, 1h15 avant d'avoir notre entrée. Ils ne servent plus d'alcool & on ne peut en apportez non plus. Le souper était bon, sans plus. Ce n'était pas notre première visite, mais ce sera malheureusement notre dernière.
