I had an amazing experience at Ganadara in Verdun! The food was absolutely delicious-fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented. The staff were warm, welcoming, & attentive, making the whole meal feel special from start to finish. The atmosphere is cozy yet modern, perfect for a casual lunch or a night out. I highly recommend the Korean fried chicken & the kimchi poutine-both were outstanding. Definitely one of my favorite spots in the area. Will be coming back again soon!View more
Tasteless, one of the most disappointing Korean food I've had. There are far better options available.View more
Ganadara Verdun is a total standout when it comes to Korean fusion. The creativity in every dish blew me away - bold Korean flavors blended perfectly with modern twists. From the crispy Korean fried chicken to the unique fusion ramen, everything was packed with flavor & beautifully plated. The atmosphere is cool & laid-back, & the service was super friendly & fast. It's the kind of spot you want to keep coming back to. If you're looking for something fun, delicious, & a little different, this is the place!View more
I was really looking forward to trying this place, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I ordered the shrimp tempura appetizer, which came with a side salad-& to my surprise, the salad was rotten. The lettuce was wilted, some pieces were turning brown, & it had a smell. It was completely inedible.
The shrimp tempura itself was decent, but it's hard to enjoy a meal when you're served something clearly past its prime. It makes me question the freshness of their other ingredients.
Service was okay, but when I mentioned the issue, the waitress offered to remake the salad, which was fine.
However, if this is how they handle food quality, I don't think I'll be returning. Plenty of other Korean restaurants that actually care about what they serve.View more
Hate to be the one to say it, but this was very disappointing. Fries were insanely salty & somehow my main was flavorless. The bulgogi bibimbap tasted like nothing, my friend's udon was just ok. I was surprised since I had a positive experience at the downtown location, however the verdun one is not up to par. If you want tasty korean food, keep looking.View more
It's a Korean fusion cuisine restaurant. For appetizers, we ordered Tteokkochi. As main dishes, we had the Udon Butter Chicken (noodles with chicken) & the Curry Katsu (rice with chicken). The food was amazing, full of flavor, & the quality was excellent for the price!View more
Great place for Korean food! Staff is nice & place is clean!View more
My husband & me went to this restaurant to celebrate the anniversary, we both love korean food. Unluckily we're not satisfied of our experience. The place is pretty small so there's a lot of smoke inside due to the cooking of the meat. A lot of waiting for the food (40 min at least), but I can understand cause tonight there were only a waitress (serving, cash, cleaning & reception) & a cook. My favorite dish is spicy tteokbokki & it's the first thing that I order as soon as I take place 😋 these poor tteokbokki were floating in a spicy tomato soup (too much) 🥺 it's also a bit expensive. I don't think we'll come back, but it's right to give a chance 😊View more
My food buddy & I came to try this HALAL Korean restaurant & were NOT disappointed! This is one of th cleanest, fastest, tastiest establishments I've been to & recommend it to anyone in love with Korean food or want to try new dishes! ♡View more
Tasty korean fusion. The chicken (except wings) is halal. Hope they serve halal beef soon. ThanksView more
Good halal korean option! Just make sure they have them. Maybe call before? The tokkochi is really goodView more
We had high hopes for Ganadara because of the promise of halal Korean food, but it was a bit of a disappointment. The spicy rice cakes came in a sauce that tasted like canned Chef Boyardee tomato sauce. The chicken katsu curry was $21, but for just a very simple gravy on a bed of rice. Not a vegetable in sight. The tofu bibimbap had just a thin strip of tofu skin as the protein. Maybe we ordered incorrectly, but we left underwhelmed.View more
Bold flavors, authentic recipes, & exceptional service-this Korean gem deserves every accolade!View more
The food & atmosphere was amazing. Definitely recommend for anyone that wants good Korean food.View more
It was alright. It's definitely not like the old ganadara & it's for sure not authentic Korean food. The rice is stale & hard. The curry tastes very similar to the Japanese box curries. Honestly, I would suggest Moa Moa which is a couple of doors down for a more authentic Korean experience.View more
Terrace, Korean food*, Japanese beer, & good conversation on the coolest street in the world. This is Montreal 😊
