Edited. Today 12/29th 6:15pm. Croffle was good but the pancake took a long 25 min+ & when they served, the pancakes quickly deflated. It wasn't a fluffy pancake anymore but a flat pancake. I mentioned it that it used to be fluffier & better cooked but the person seems uninterested. Only when we started eating, she asked if we wanted a new one. Not coming back. Will go back to the one near Chinatown & hopefully will get a better experience. 6 months ago: The strawberry pancakes were warm, fluffy & not too sweet. The strawberry jam was delicious.

Fluffy pancakes très corrects. C'était notre première expérience avec ce type de pancakes japonais donc sans grand recul. On a apprécié qu'ils soient faits minute (ce qui demande un peu de temps, il faut l'accepter). Seul bémol, le'Nutella' n'en est pas un. On aimerait un chocolat plus proche du goût Nutella & en plus grande quantité.
Prix raisonnable, je recommande pour un goûter ou un plaisir sucré tardif !

The pancakes were super light & fluffy, & service was quick. Our food was delivered by an adorable robot. The only downside is that there is no option to order a side with your pancakes.

If you're looking for the ultimate fluffy pancakes & don't mind the calories, this is the spot! The matcha pancakes were incredible, & the drinks were just as delicious. I'd come here every day if these were zero calories!

The place is cute & the tiramisu pancakes where really delicious. I would say it was on the expensive side. 20$ for a small dessert is a bit excessive. The pancake itself is special, Japanese style & extremely light & fluffy. The dessert was not too sweet which I liked. On the other hand the bathroom was disgusting. They really need to clean it. It seems like none of the staff want to do that.

The pancakes were incredibly fluffy, sweet, & creamy-just as you'd hope from a Japanese-style dessert. Service was quick & efficient, but the price felt a bit steep at around $20 for a single serving

I had such a great experience at this pancake place! The food was delicious fluffy, warm, & perfectly cooked. But what really stood out was the service. The girl at the counter with bangs was so kind & friendly! She greeted everyone with a smile & made sure we had everything we needed. It's rare to find such genuine & attentive service these days. I'll definitely be coming back!

Pancakes were fluffy & tasty, too bad it's not enough to feel full, have it more like a dessert than a breakfast or meal because you won,t feel full with just 2. I understand it takes time as you can only serve these freshly made, so I am not one to complaint about that. The place was not very clean though, & we were surprised to be served by a robot at the table! Because we had already tipped, why tip if a robot does the service at the table? That's unfair. Especially when we had to push chairs out of its way instead of the staff, hey you should TIP US for making us work!

J'ai beaucoup aimé. Les pancakes sont délicieuses & fluffy. Ça vaut la peine d'essayer même si c'est un peu dispendieux. Avec le robot qui rapporte le repas à ta place.

This place is always such a delight!! I ALWAYS COME BACK to this place. The staff are fast & friendly. It's always amazing food & service! Good place to get a sweet treat with friends at any time of the day. They have lots of seating & the place to go for dessert. They have amazing pancakes soufflés, it's soft & fluffy. The croffle is so yummy. The food is so aesthetic for pictures!! 11/10 :)

The matchu tiramisu pancake is soft & fluffy with pretty nice presentation. The mango cheesecake is just average quality & lacks of mango flavour. All cold drinks have too much ice on it. Please clean the washroom more often & find a way to get rid of those flies.i also saw customer cleanup the tables by themselves.

The Japanese Pancakes at Fuwa Fuwa are out of this world. Soft, Fluffy, freshly made & extremely flavorful.
We had Pistachio Pancake & Tiramisu Pancake. Both were excellent but personally, I like the pistachio one. It may take a while to be prepared but it's well worth the wait.
The best part is the pancakes are delivered to your table by a lovely robot.
If you're in Montreal, this is definitely a place to visit & these Japanese pancakes are a must have - Never miss.

If you are planning to go to FUWA FUWA on Ste Catherine & you are in a hurry, then don't. While the cakes look delicious, the wait time is just painfully troublesome. The lineup is huge & everything is slow & lethargic. There is absolutely no sense of urgency.
I had the Tiramisu Matcha for just over $20 & it took 39 minutes from the time I ordered.
However, if you have extra time to kill, then this might be a different story. The cakes are prepared on the spot, at least the ones that we had ordered.
The texture is indeed soft & fluffy but you end up feeling full, even though it is not rich & fatty.
It's worth a try, but there are other similar type bakeries not too far from this one, & definitely cheaper.
The hype here is that the cake looks different & once you have tried it, then you move on.
What I do not like is the published prices (or lack thereof) as I am accustomed to look at a menu (either the name or picture or both) with a price next to it. Here there is just a name & a picture with no price. I have to ask the teller who had no clue & had to look it up. This can get stressful when there are people in line after me.
Seating inside is limited & paid parking on some side roads.

This place is a bit overpriced overall, but it's super cozy & totally worth the experience.
The staff are really friendly, & the taste is amazing. I was so hyped - the fluffy pancakes were incredibly flavorful!
Definitely a must-try!

Fuwa Fuwa's Japanese fluffy pancakes are absolutely delicious-soft, airy, & full of flavor. We really enjoyed the matcha tiramisu, & the Biscoff pancakes are probably my favorite so far. The smoked salmon croffle was also a great savory option-perfect for breakfast or lunch. The drinks were great, & the staff is super friendly. There's plenty of seating, & the interior is cute & cozy. The atmosphere is relaxing, & the music adds a nice touch. Highly recommend for a sweet (or savory) treat!
