I got an order to-go from this location & I would definitely recommend staying in to eat your pancakes if you can & the place isn't too busy. They have a nice interior with two different levels. But I will say I am impressed that they could even offer a soufflée tiramisu pancake in a take-away form!
The wait times are the way they are because things are made pretty fresh. Definitely the place to come if you want to try a soufflée style pancake. Though I will say that the cheesecakes are also very good & don't get talked about enough.View more
The matchu tiramisu pancake is soft & fluffy with pretty nice presentation. The mango cheesecake is just average quality & lacks of mango flavour. All cold drinks have too much ice on it. Please clean the washroom more often & find a way to get rid of those flies.i also saw customer cleanup the tables by themselves.View more
The Japanese Pancakes at Fuwa Fuwa are out of this world. Soft, Fluffy, freshly made & extremely flavorful.
We had Pistachio Pancake & Tiramisu Pancake. Both were excellent but personally, I like the pistachio one. It may take a while to be prepared but it's well worth the wait.
The best part is the pancakes are delivered to your table by a lovely robot.
If you're in Montreal, this is definitely a place to visit & these Japanese pancakes are a must have - Never miss.View more
If you are planning to go to FUWA FUWA on Ste Catherine & you are in a hurry, then don't. While the cakes look delicious, the wait time is just painfully troublesome. The lineup is huge & everything is slow & lethargic. There is absolutely no sense of urgency.
I had the Tiramisu Matcha for just over $20 & it took 39 minutes from the time I ordered.
However, if you have extra time to kill, then this might be a different story. The cakes are prepared on the spot, at least the ones that we had ordered.
The texture is indeed soft & fluffy but you end up feeling full, even though it is not rich & fatty.
It's worth a try, but there are other similar type bakeries not too far from this one, & definitely cheaper.
The hype here is that the cake looks different & once you have tried it, then you move on.
What I do not like is the published prices (or lack thereof) as I am accustomed to look at a menu (either the name or picture or both) with a price next to it. Here there is just a name & a picture with no price. I have to ask the teller who had no clue & had to look it up. This can get stressful when there are people in line after me.
Seating inside is limited & paid parking on some side roads.View more
Little pricey, but good quality. Tiramisu was a little heavy handed in the powder on top resulting in bitterness if you didn't remove some, but some may prefer the contrast.
Coffee was good.
Robot waiter is a gimmick that is cute but fails in utility. Stops on the wrong side of the table so you have to stand up & walk over to get your dishes.View more
So fluffy, enjoyed it as a dessert. Tried nutella & tiramisu both deliciousView more
Fuwa Fuwa's Japanese fluffy pancakes are absolutely delicious-soft, airy, & full of flavor. We really enjoyed the matcha tiramisu, & the Biscoff pancakes are probably my favorite so far. The smoked salmon croffle was also a great savory option-perfect for breakfast or lunch. The drinks were great, & the staff is super friendly. There's plenty of seating, & the interior is cute & cozy. The atmosphere is relaxing, & the music adds a nice touch. Highly recommend for a sweet (or savory) treat!View more
We stopped by Fuwa Fuwa & it was love at first bite! We tried the tiramisu Japanese pancake, & it was absolutely divine-light, fluffy, & full of rich, creamy flavor. Every bite just melted in our mouths. The juices were just as amazing-fresh, vibrant, & the perfect complement to the pancakes. The presentation was beautiful, & the atmosphere was bright & welcoming. It's the kind of place that makes you smile from the first sip to the last bite. Can't wait to go back & try more!View more
I came to Fuwa Fuwa for the first time to try their pancakes. I had the pancake tiramisu & the black mango tea. The pancakes were very good. Fluffy & not too sweet. The tea was okay. The price was a little high for the food. $26 for those two items.
Service was good. I find that everyone working there was nice & welcoming. The robot was not working when I went unfortunately.View more

Also I ordered three stuffs two pancakes one salty & a tiramisu pancake & one more croffle all i can say is MASTERPIECE . Got them all together so I didn't have to wait for too long & the girl in the decoration area was very sweet & very nice. I highly recommend this place they make the best matcha drink eveView more
Had the strawberry, tiramisu, signature & Oreo & cream souffle.
Overpriced for the items on the menu.View more
First time at that place. We took the tiramisu pancakes & strawberry pancakes. Very fluffy & light. A robot serves the dishes to your seat. Staff is nice. Will come back.View more
Everything was EXCELENT. We were a group of 4, & ordered 3 sweets (tiramisu, pistacho & biscoff) & one salty fluffy pancakes & they were all excelent. 5 stars for the attentions of Redouane. I will defenitley come back.View more
I first tried Fuwa Fuwa in Toronto in 2022 & loved it-so I was thrilled when one opened in Montreal! I've already visited twice, & both times, the experience has been amazing. The service is excellent, the staff is friendly, & the food quality is consistently great. So far, I've tried the tiramisu, crème brûlée, nutella, & classic. While they're all delicious, you can't go wrong with the classic: it's a must-try! The space is also well-designed with plenty of seating options, which makes it a comfortable spot to enjoy these fluffy pancakes. ✨️View more
Cute & bright restaurant. I got there around past noon & they were busy with lines. I ordered tiramisu pancake & the appearance looked soo adorable. They were fluffy . Overall, the pancake was great, & I hope I could try other dishes as well. We sat at the table closed to the front door & omg it was freezing lol. The only thing that disappointed me was the service - it was kinda slow :( from ordering to receiving food were more than 20min. I would likely want to come back to try other pancake & their drinks, they are busy for some reasons eh lolView more

View more
I gave this 4 stars overall but really a 3.5 Service is way quicker than previous reviews when the spot opened (I went Monday night around 8:45PM) & my order was ready in 15mins. Very kind staff indeed, clean tables & apparently they got newer cooking machines which is why service is way faster. I ordered a Tiramisu soufflé (bestseller) & Mango latte (both had no coffee/espresso). Yes, the soufflé is light, fluffy & not too sweet however not worth the price. Latte tasted tangy at first with a sweeter aftertaste but nothing "WOW". Paid $25 total which I'd say should be about half that instead. Sadly overpriced & overhyped, worth a try once though if you have $ to burnView more
I'm a bit saddened about the reviews since they're mostly about waiting/service & not the actual products. I loved the pancakes, they were super fluffy & delicious, both the crème brûlée & the tiramisu! Also loves the croffle sandwich. Highly recommend & definitely would go back - don't listen to the bad reviews, we w barely waited, it was super quick!View more
So... I came here 3 times, & honestly... it's sad. The wait times take way too long, only for the pancakes to taste average at most. Sometimes, the pancakes are awfully deflated, too. On top of that, they seem to spam their sauce too much. I appreciate the efforts they take to ensure that everything is good, but for the time you take to prepare orders & the quality... I expected a little better. On top of that, the pancakes are expensive. It can range from 12-19$ excluding taxes. (Depending on what you get) I came here during opening & a month after that. I can understand that the opening was busy but I'm disappointed by my experience even a month later. It wasn't busy, but I had hoped it would be better. Here are my opinions on the menu that I had tried previously: Matcha Tiramisu: Honestly overhyped. I'm not sure if it is because mine had way too much sauce, but there was so much sauce that it overwhelmed the pancakes entirely. Moreover, the pancakes were not really fluffy. It just didn't taste right. I had a lot of hope for this, too, since I'm a Matcha & Tiramisu lover. This also comes with Matcha sauce & ice cream on the side, but the sauce on the pancake was already too much so it was too much when i tried it with the matcha sauce. 3/5 Signature: It's perfect. The taste is wonderful & honestly melted in my mouth. They provide maple syrup as well to add as well. 5/5 Tiramisu: Very nice! It doesn't feel overwhelming, & it compliments the pancake well. 4/5 Strawberry: One of my favorites! It is a little sweet, but the sauce & the pancake go well together! It is perfect if you like something fruity & sweet. 5/5 Raspberry Caramelized: The sauce & the caramelized bananas were nice. My only issue is that the pancakes were... a little stiff again like the Matcha Tiramisu I had. 3/5 Creme Brulée: Very nice! I had it twice & both times didn't disappoint! One of them was a little more deflated then the other, but it wasn't stiff, so that's alright! It was still fluffy, so I didn't mind too much. It also comes with some caramelized bananas & ice cream on the side! 5/5 Blueberry Cheese: Like the Matcha Tiramisu, this was the same. The sauce was overwhelming as it's literally too much, & the pancakes were a little stiff. It comes with ice cream & orange slices on the side... but honestly, it just looked like a complete mess rather than a dessert. Despite this, I do recommend eating it together with the ice cream as it helped a lot & tasted a little better. 3/5 Drinks: Very nice, not much to comment on. Basque Cheesecake: Good, not much to comment on. Price overall.... it's really expensive. Especially the Cheesecake. For 1 Cheesecake slice, it's 7$ & it's barely the size of a palm. For a whole, it's around 20-23$ depending on the flavor. Honestly, it's not worth the price for the quality & experience that I had.View more
View more
Go for classic tiramisu over the matcha. FYI it will take 20-30 minutes to be served.View more
I was honestly looking forward to try this place. The employees working the counter do really try hard to give you a good service however the kitchen design it's horrible. I ordered 1 tiramisu pancake at 12:59pm. It is now 2:05pm & I still haven't received my order.....View more
Thankfully I didn't have to wait to order but I did have to wait about 30 minutes to get my tiramisu souffle pancake. I was so sad they were out of the matcha & red bean one. I had a few souffle pancakes before & visually, it was the shortest souffle pancakes I ever had (2 layers). As for the taste, well it was light, chocolaty & just sweet enough. It's good as a snack although around 15$. Overall, it's ok & I may go back from time to time if it's not too busy.View more
Tried it for the first time, the tiramisu pancake, light but didn't taste much tiramisu. The staff kind but it takes long time to get the order, maybe the place is new & they lack experience. 🤩😁View more
