Freddi est décrit comme un bel endroit avec une cuisine et des cocktails de qualité et un service attentif et chaleureux. The miso-maple glazed black cod is one of the dish you should try ! The connoisseur is also great to start with as well! The service with Ismael & Matteo was great as well. Answered all our questions & went out of their way to accommodate us with honey for the Brussels sprouts.
Je suis allée chez Freddi 2 fois jusqu'à maintenant, une fois le soir & une fois sur l'heure du lunch, & les deux fois c'était vraiment une belle expérience. On a été servis par David à chaque visite & il est incroyable. Super attentif, il connaît vraiment bien le menu.
J'ai aussi été agréablement surprise par leurs cocktails d'inspiration japonaise. Le Usucha, le Ko & le Kanso étaient tous excellents.
Le restaurant est vraiment beau & surtout très confortable. Les banquettes sont parfaites pour passer une longue soirée, & le grand bar au centre donne une super ambiance, surtout pour une date night.
Côté nourriture, les'Chicken Karrage Bao Bun'sont devenu mon incontournable pour le lunch.
Pour le souper : le'Hamachi & Maguro Sashimi Duo','The Classic 3 Rolls','Wagu Gyoza' & le'Miso-Maple Glazed Black Cod' sont tous exceptionnels. & en dessert, le'Strawberry & Mascarpone Sando' ainsi que le'Japanese Cheesecake' sont des valeurs sures!
Je suis allée pour un souper avec mes amis & nous avons adoré la nourriture, surtout le sashimi qui fondait dans la bouche & la crème glacée au matcha! Le style est très cozy & chic! Le service était incroyable, mais il y a eu quelques petits oublis du serveur lors de mes questions sur le menu. Je recommande !
We recently visited this new restaurant with high expectations, especially given its association with the William Gray, & chose it to celebrate our anniversary. While there are some strong elements, the overall experience felt like it still needs refinement.
From the start, there was some confusion with seating. We had to request being moved to the bar, as the table we were initially given was apparently reserved for another couple who ended up arriving 1.5 hours later... despite the table sitting empty that entire time. It set the tone for what felt like an overwhelmed service throughout the evening. Menus also took quite a while to reach us.
To their credit, the team offered us a glass of'champagne' to apologize, though it turned out to be prosecco; a small detail, but one that contributes to the overall impression.
Food-wise, there were some highlights & some misses. The wagyu tartare was a generous portion, though the bone marrow element was difficult to discern. The cod was beautifully presented & well-portioned, but the miso-maple sauce was too watery, a spoon would have gone a long way in helping fully enjoy the dish.
The maguro toast with caviar left us puzzled: the texture was very creamy but lacked depth & flavor. The connoisseur rolls were overall enjoyable, except for the tuna roll (tuna sashimi with braised shiitake), which felt confused & unbalanced in taste.
The ambiance & music were great, but unfortunately the hospitality did not match. Despite celebrating a special occasion, we didn't quite feel taken care of. While a dessert was kindly offered at the end, the overall experience felt rushed & lacking that attention to detail that elevates a dining experience.
There is definitely potential here, & I'm confident things will improve with time. That said, for a restaurant of this caliber & backing, one would expect a more polished & seamless experience from the very beginning.
J'ai voulu aller essayer ce nouveau resto de fusion asiatique avec mon copain & nous avons adoré!! Nous avons été servi par Florence en son service était incroyable. Elle a su nous guider à travers le menu à merveille & nous a concocté un menu sur mesure incroyable. Je recommande fortement 🤩
Beautiful restaurant with great food & drinks. The service was excellent, especially David, who gave thoughtful recommendations. We loved almost all dishes, particularly the yakitori duck breast & handrolls, though the wagyu tartare was a bit salty. Would definitely recommend this spot!

Absolutely fantastic experience! If you are looking for a handcraft cocktail with premium ingredients, this is the place! The reduce menu still offers a variety of flavors that will delight your night! A new'must' in the old port!

I had the opportunity to dine here last night & it was amazing. Even if our table was super tiny & in the corner, Leon made sure to make our experience the best as possible. he made sure every dish came slowly so that not everything would bombard our table & take all the place. Everything was super good

Best dishes: temakis (such interesting flavours), black cod (this is a must get), brussels sprouts (basic but they just really nailed it from texture to taste)
Cocktails: I was so impressed by every single one of their drinks. Shioka (i don't like olives nor blue cheese nor vodka, but this was such a trip!), Kanso (goes down sooo smooth), Aoba (sounds hardcore but was also very pleasant)
Leon Leblanc is one of the best servers ive ever had serve me. He was super inviting, made sure to ask if everything was to our liking & made the whole experience super comfortable. 10/10 id let him serve me again
