Franklin's Subs and Suds est situé sur la rue St-Paul dans le Vieux-Montréal. Le sous-marin « Philly cheesesteak » à l’honneur au Franklin’s Subs and Suds. Le décor est très réconfortant, jeux d’arcade, magnifique graffiti avec musique d’ambiance.
Les avis convergent pour décrire une ambiance chaleureuse et décontractée avec une déco rétro et une playlist entraînante, et un service rapide et attentionné. La carte est variée et généreuse, avec des coups de coeur pour le smoked meat sandwich, la poutine et le Philly cheesesteak, sans oublier les burgers et les accompagnements qui reçoivent souvent des compliments; les cocktails et les boissons sont également bien appréciés et les portions généreuses. Certaines remarques mentionnent que la poutine peut être un peu grasse ou manquer de saveur selon les plats, et que l'ambiance peut etre plus bruyante que prévu, pas forcément adaptée aux jeunes enfants. Dans l'ensemble, Franklin's est perçu comme une adresse conviviale et abordable pour un déjeuner ou une sortie entre amis, avec un personnel globalement sympathique et des conseils utiles, et c est un lieu qui donne envie de revenir.
Super awesome place. Cool vibe, awesome staff, & great poutine & sandwiches. If wandering around St Paul looking for a place with table service that's easy, relatively quick, & relaxing with adult drinks & food for kids - & often not too crowded - this is ur spot.
(Ordered delivery) Poutine is very small for the price. It's also not the authentic poutine cheese. & the fries were undercooked. The goat cheese burger did not have the bacon it was advertised with. On the positive side, it was well packaged & the beef patty was good. Very disappointing overall, sadly. Will not order again.

Couldn't find a spot to eat so just kept walking. Stumbled on this place & was the right call. Really cool aesthetic, & great food. Also played good music with no censorship which was a vibe. Tried a poutine & burger. Highly recommended.

The smoked meat sub is simple & absolutely delicious! The smoked meat carries the sub, of course, allowing the plain yellow mustard & pickle to complete the experience. Awesome!
Forget the large franchised fast food places & come to a geniuine local haunt. Great friendly service & honest comfort food. With cocktails as a bonus if you need a pick me up. The decor is tops as well!
My friends & I were visiting from out of town & were so happy to stumble across this gem of an establishment! When you come to Canada, you want poutine. If you want poutine, you'll wanna come here. We enjoyed every bit of it, along with our mules (made with bitters to our pleasant surprise). We also loved our bartender, Tim. He was very charming & made us feel extremely welcome! Exactly the spot we were looking for :)

Great little spot in Montreal to go to with the lads. Nice choice of fastfood (the philly steak n cheese sub is amazing), great beer & a waitress with a tiny dress. Top!
Franklin's in Old Port, Montreal, is a must-visit! I tried their fried chicken burger, & it was delicious. Paired it with a milkshake & crispy fries. Great vibe with hockey on TV - perfect for hanging out with friends. I'll be back for sure!
