Adresse très surfaite. Nous avons attendu 25 minutes car file d'attente, jusque-là tout va bien. Revenus 25 min plus tard (car nous ne sommes pas restés dans le froid dehors), on nous dit qu'on nous avait appelé, mais que nous ne nous sommes pas pointés. Je demande si on peut être replacé, le type de l'accueil est hésitant & va demander. Il n'est tout bonnement jamais revenu me voir dehors pour me tenir informée. Résultat, nous avons du attendre 1 heure au total afin d'être placés en salle. Le service était trop long & la personne en charge de faire un cocktail s'est pointée vers la fin du repas pour nous l'apportez. Pareil pour l'addition, il a fallu se lever, mettre nos vestes pour avoir qqn qui prenne enfin l'encaissement. La nourriture était bonne, mais loin d'être exceptionnelle. C'était très basique pour un prix aussi onéreux. 85$ pour deux brunch & un cocktail. Il y a bien mieux comme adresse sur Montréal.Voir plus

On me l'avait conseillé depuis longtemps, mais je n'ai pas eu l'occasion de passer dans le quartier mais c'est chose faite depuis. L'endroit n'est pas très grand, les tables assez collées & le niveau sonore est très élevés quand la salle est pleine. Coté menu, nous avons opté pour Poireaux, moule & beurre blanc, le gravlax de saumon, le fameux tartare de boeuf, truffe, parmesan & le jaune d'oeuf à 64°, Spag maison, truffe noire & jaune d'oeuf à 64º & plein de parmesan bien sur & frites, béchamel au parmesan & truffe. The truffle spaghetti was good, but the portion was pretty small, especially for the price. They don't have foie gras anymore, & I mainly came for that. I get the animal rights thing, but I mean, your restaurant is named after it? Maybe rename? Lastly they asked me if I wanted water or sparlking, & didn't tell me that sparkling water would cost $6.5. My third time going to Foiegwa & I am never disappointed. A nice restaurant, fair pricing, delicious food & kind staff. I recommend the fries( they are a must have!!), the truffle pasta & any kind of cocktail. A small restaurant with a hopping ambiance make sure to reserve. Nous avons mangé le menu tard le soir a 25$. Nous avons eu la mousse de foie de volaille. C'était bon. Après le tartare au boeuf aussi était bon. Mais la mousse au chocolat était trop sucré. Il devrait faire une mousse au chocolat avec du chocolat noir & ne pas rajouter de sucre. Le service etait correcte. Mais la musique était trop forte a mon gout. Le fait quelle soit forte, nous devrions presque parler avec une voix forte pour s'entendre. & le fait est que tout le monde doit parler fort ça en résulte a ce qu'il est de la cacophonie hyper forte.Voir plus

Très décevant ! Je n'irai personnellement plus manger ici. Ma femme adore ce restaurant & venait d'accoucher. J'essaie donc de commander pour emporter au téléphone, une personne me dit d'aller au restaurant directement pour commander. Après 25 min de route, sur place on me dit ils ne font pas à emporter. Très agacé, Je rappelle le restaurant. Cet même personne s'excuse & me dit que c'est à la discrétion du restaurant ou de l'achalandage. C'est pas acceptable comme service client. No reservation brunch, staff was nice Good coffee, I didn't t like the bloody Caesar (too strong & lacking celery salt but appreciated the option to choose the alcohol paired with the cocktail) I ordered the truffle pasta, it was delicious & not overpowered but a bigger portion would have been appreciated. The croque mamie was good & generous, really enjoy the breakfast potatoes too. The butter croissant tasted a bit stale, like it was made from croissant the day before.. the jam & peanut butter made it sweeter & ok to eatVoir plus

I am a loyal "brunch" customer on Saturdays/Sundays. I wanted to experiment with time required for a meal in the evening, as I usually eat out on Wednesday before attending choir rehearsal, which begins at 7:30. It will not be possible to fit a visit in then. I should also say that (& I don't believe this is unusual or unjustified) a meal in the evening costs about double what a brunch costs, &, for me, that is a bit pricey (unless I were there for a special occasion). Part of the greater price is a result of the fact that main dishes do not come with sides; one needs to order these separately. Perhaps a small quantity of carbohydrate could be offered, instead of having to order à-la-carte. I'm diabetic, & this is important for me.
Nevertheless, the food was very good, & there were several dishes on the menu that I would like to try at some point. When I come to the restaurant on my own, I sit at the bar, & usually read; I was worried that evening lighting would not be adequate, but happily found that this was not so, though it was still atmospheric & not intensely bright so as to offend your clientèle.
I don't believe I will become a regular evening customer, the way I am for brunch. But I will be back—& now have to visit your speakeasy!

Genuinely impressive.
The quality & preparation of the food was excellent. The fried chicken was perfectly cooked &, despite being literally covered in sauce, was still crispy; my one criticism here is that the meat itself could have been more flavorful but the sauce makes up for it. The bechamel fries were probably the best fries I have ever had. My girlfriend loved the burger. The chocolate mousse was perfect; rich & chocolatey. All of this speaks to the skill of the chef which is a rare find these days.
Service was excellent. Incredibly fast & friendly.
