Très bon service !! & la nourriture un vrai délice à refaire …À +. Très bon vin
Wow, this is our first time in this restaurant.our waitress Camille is the best i have ever encountered. I told her about one of the guest celebrating a birthday & she took care of it. We enjoyed what we ordered as Camille explained everything well. From the sashimi to the steak, we truly enjoyed everything. Thank you. We will come back.
Would not have known about this place if a local friend had not told me about it. Super cool vibe great food. Not cheap but worth it.
I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant in Chinatown & Montreal, however, the food was frankly underwhelming & confusing. I'm of Chinese origin & have spent my entire life eating a variety of Asian food, especially Chinese (of course) & Japanese food. This restaurant calls itself Japanese (per their website & Instagram) & has a'fusion' menu if you look closely - mix of Japanese cooking, Chinese flavours, & some French ingredients. To me, the marketing isn't straight forward or clear to the consumer, especially with the Chinese signage. If the marketing/branding is a bit clearer, customers may come in with that context in mind. As for the food, some dishes were a bit strange tasting, such as the'Gai Lan' (Cantonese veggie in pic) - the price was high for a few icy cold pieces of Gai Lan drenched in soy sauce with a creamy seasme sauce on the side. I get it - the restaurant probably attempted to replicable how Japanese spinach salad (Gomae) is made using a Cantonese veggie, but the flavour was lacking & the price was quite high ($14). We also got the Tan Tan Udon - regardless of what the'take' is for this dish, the umami flavour was really lacking - it was spicy & had way too much sesame oil. Finally, we also got the Chicken Nanban, it was good but a bit salty. Overall, I think the restaurant has some uniqueness to it, but can work on their focus in terms of branding & flavours - keeping things a bit simpler, & preserving some traditional Japanese/Chinese aspects for certain dishes, & not overdoing it to create fusion.
Yummy in my tummy! Amazing service from jack, he was both knowledgeable, & cute!
Food's great. The guy bartending when I went really knows his stuff.
Nous avons partagé 5 repas à deux personnes & ils étaient tous DÉLICIEUX! Le service était parfait. L'ambiance charmante. Je recommande certainement!!!
Wonderful spot. Impressed with the quality of food, service & wonderful, casual ambience.
