Overall a medium experience. Walked in having heard amazing things but left somewhat disappointed. The edamame/aubergine dish was served without any accompaniment -- reminiscent of a bowl of guacamole without chips. We ordered orange wine & received far less than a 6oz pour; disappointing at $14 a glass. We were impressed by the shirashu & pork udon dishes, but that's about it.
Les toilettes étaient d'une malpropreté inconcevable pour un endroit aussi magique. Clairement elles n'avaient pas étaient nettoyées depuis très longtemps. À tel point que notre groupe de 6 a remis en question un retour prochain au resto & s'est mis à douter de la propreté de la cuisine...
Nous aurions mis 5/5 mais la salle est mal insonorisée & donc on ne s'entend pas dans parler, avec en plus un fond musical trop fort. Mais la qualité des services plats est exceptionnelle. Merci encore.

On a adorer notrw experience chez vous. Tous les plats délicieux, des très bon sale, notre serveur était excellent & connaissant. L'ambiance est superbe, ça nous a vraiment rappeler de notre voyage au Japon.
Everything was amazing here & easily one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had. It was definitely a full experience more than just food. Server made us feel like we're visiting family & she was super warm & attentive. Food was really tasty & we ordered 5 different dishes & all were great. Their fried chicken was not exactly what we usually like, but we're glad we gave it a try. We had a great time here & will go back to this restaurant for sure next time we visit Montreal.

What a place! Great energy & extensive sake list. Expect to spend a lot here if you want to get full, though. Chirashi was tasty but a bit pricey, & the rice is seasoned a lot which is a shame, as the special aged soy sauce they serve it with becomes unnecessary at that point. Recommend the agedashi tofu & onsen eggs - total standouts! Worth checking out for the excellent vibe as well as the quality food.
