Fleurs & Cadeaux sells you an experience. This place has a great cozy ambiance. Sitting at the bar feels like a luxury as you watch the chefs prepare your dishes. I recommend getting the aged duck. It melts in your mouth. Don't skip out on the chirashi sushi either. The food is a bit on the pricier side but definitely worth stopping by.

We had a really nice dinner here through the week - just as a walk in. We sat at the bar & Arthur did a great job looking after us & taking us through the menu. We ended up going for a tasting menu so we had a wide range of things; egg, sashimi, veg, agadashi tofu & scallops to finish things off alongside some recommended sake. Everything was spot on, both sake choices worked well, the sashimi was wonderfully fresh & well presented while the scallops with the caramelised butter were the best dish of the night. The cocktail options had some nice twists with Japanese ingredients - it takes a bit of bravery to put soy sauce in a cocktail.
Prices seemed fair for Montreal, while you could spend more if you really went for it, it felt bang on the money.
Service was, of course, excellent & the restaurant felt busy without ever being noisy. This feels like a hidden gem, from the outside it seems like a cheap, unassuming Asian restaurant, inside it's actually a very nicely laid out, distinctly Japanese, restaurant.

Finally got to try this place. Great ambiance. Ordered the fried chicken, sashimi platter, udon & cheescake. It was all verry good. Udon is spicy so might want to skip if you can't handle too much spice but I loved it. The cocktails were less memorable. Still highly recommend.
