I was at Five Guys today (Tuesday March 24 around 12h30) with my three friends & we had a really rude & honestly sexist encounter with one of the workers. He was a guy wearing jeans & a black top. He looked like the chef d'équipe. At first, I went in with two of my friends & we sat down while waiting for our other friend to arrive. We had taken out our lunches & we were going to decide what to order once she got there. The worker came up to us & didn't even say hi, he just rudely asked if we were going to buy something. We told him we were waiting for our friend. He said'We're not a cafeteria here' & walked away. We noticed other tables with men from our school eating their own lunches but he didn't say anything to them. A few minutes later, he came back, cut me off & told us we had to leave, repeating'We're not a cafeteria.' We felt really disrespected & left. His behavior made us feel judged & like we were treated differently because we were girls. I understand that if you don't order you can't stay, the problem is the way he spoke to us & that he didn't treat other male customers the same way.
I should have read the reviews for the fries before ordering. They were completely overcooked, hard, dry & over salted. We are used to going at the other one in Dix30 which doesn't seem to have this problem.
Hamburgers were good.

I've been to a few Five Guys now, this one is great. The staff super friendly & fully bilingual. Food good. Service quick & efficient. The floor manager was constantly timing how fast meals were prepared. He was everywhere at once, encouraging his team. Very involved & it showed. Good job team!
So... my friend didn't want to come eat with us at MissPho next door, wanted a takeout from fiveguys & join us. Even if we went at the same time, we had time to finish each dish at misspho, while he was still waiting his burger & fries next door !! Its supposed to be a fastfood. Either they dont hire enough employe or they arent trained properly.
On this visit I got a burger & a poutine. The burger was amazing like always. The poutine was also very good. On other occasions I get fries, fries are super!!

I went twice & 2 times fries was salty. In addition every time i get different amounts of fries even i order large. First time was very good portion second time i order it was way less which was not sufficient & i was disappointed so i didn't know how much the large fries portion shoud be
These are hands down the best burgers I've ever had! The Cajun fries are amazing too, but the burgers are the bomb !!! The staff is incredibly friendly, & the place is spotless & welcoming. Huge thanks to the team!
First time at this location. Parking is tricky so we did take out. Food is well packed & we got home & it was still hot. Drove 20 minutes. Excellent selection. Service nothing but above the norm friendly & detailed oriented. Very clean restaurant. Noise level was not overbearing for the rock music they were playing in the background. Definite repeat. A must to try everything on the menu. All Fresh ingredients. No aftertaste as most fast food does. Congrats to Five Guys !!!
The service was friendly & efficient, & the food was top notch. Really pleased with my meal & experience overall. There is free parking available if you're a customer.
Husband & I love five guys. We go to all of them all over the city. First time at this location. Very disappointed. Fries not cooked how they wete supposed to leaving them too hard, they put onions in my husbands burger when he's allergic & to top it off the burgers were over cooked. Oh yeah & there was no more bacon at 7pm. My order had bacon crumbs in it not slices . Maybe if the 3 staff members weren't so busy talking & goofing around things could improve. Won't be returning.
I apologize for not having pictures to share but the hamburger & cheeseburger were just so good that I forgot to take pictures! This said, I still wanted to let us all know, the place is as good as the other Five Guys I tried. I like this new place in Laval. It's clean & the staff were super friendly! The minus is trying to find packing. If you take the subway, it's golden. If you are driving, I can only wish you good luck for packing but don't let it stop you. You won't be disappointed!
Shrinkflation has hit here. I went a couple of months ago & left completely stuff but last week I ordered the exact same burger & small fry but the portions weren't anywhere near the same. They're known for their overflowing bag of fries but now its a tiny cup with a few extra in the bag. Hardly enough food to justify the cost.

Always loved their burgers. So much better compared to Harvey's & any fast food joints. Even some restaurants. The meat has actual seasoning. Feels like others are always bland. The one thing I will say is it's expensive. Their Cajun fries are awesome
First time going to five guys in about 10 years, probably will go again but not at this establishment. Sadly the cashier wasn't very aware of what was going on ( worked 3 years in a mcdos & several more years in the food industry). Sold me a water bottle they had none, no smile & didn't ask me how I was. Then they messed up my partners poutine, didn't put enough fries & when the "manager" I think told the other employee they added more fries & two ladles of sauce on the first ladle of sauce which was already alot. Forgot the bacon in my burger & in the poutine... The atmosphere is five guys so its good & it was for the sleep token concert so alot of good vibes.
Fantastic burger restaurant. It's actually located in the building across from the Metro station but shows differently on Google maps. Bacon cheeseburgers & fresh cut French fries are absolutely divine. Five Guys puts all other burger joints to shame. Well priced & great value for your buck! Super fresh, made for you food that is delicious & served piping hot. Love the convenience when staying at the Marriott Courtyard Laval right around the corner.
Been here twice now on Saturdays around noon - Location is easy to access but limited street parking. We did not have any issues finding parking when we went, but since there is no designated lot, depending on time of day or event going on around the area, it might get crowded. Restaurant was pretty empty both times we went, we were served quickly & accurately. I've tried Five Guys on the West Island & the experience has been just as good. This location is newer, not very big but still a decent amount of tables & room to eat. I love the huge windows & layout - it makes a huge difference with the amount of natural sunlight coming through. Another feature I love at this location is the washroom area. There are 3 individual restrooms for total privacy & comfort, & a communal sink area on the outside. This means that you can wash your hands without entering the actual bathroom if you quickly need to rinse before or after you eat. You can also see customers as they come out of the restoom & observe if they wash their hands or not since this is out in the open. Food quality is consistent both times I went & on par with other locations. Burgers are flavorful & made to order - fries are generous. Just the poutine could be better, they serve it to you in a closed plastic container & the curds were all melted, to the point of being stretchy - I suspect they do not use fresh curds as this would not happen with fresher cheese, it should remain intact & squeeky. If you're looking for large decadent burgers & customizable options - this is the place to go. Free peanuts are also a nice touch.
