This place gives me mixed feelings. We were there for a friends birthday & when I arrived they told us there was no reservation to our name. They seemed extremely unorganized & had us standing in the entrance way while they tried to find us seats because they realized they had made an error on our reservation. They were clearly in disarray. I did enjoy the food however. The ambiance is nice really vibrant with LIT energy . Another big issue is the service. The food took extremely long to come, we had to repeat some of the orders & some of the items never showed up. Also some of the items were on the wrong bills which was confusing & took a while to figure out. Such a shame because the food like i said we actually enjoyed.Voir plus
This used to be my go to in Montreal. I was here last summer a few times & loved the food, drinks & service. The quality, 6 months later, has significantly gone down. While we enjoyed the oysters & rock sushi, the burrata & salmon tartare were no longer better than average. We also tried the buffalo cauliflower which was a big disappointment but thankfully the waiter removed from our bill. No duck tacos available either.Voir plus

This was my second visit to Fishbone, & I'm just as pleased as I was the first time. The food continues to be top-notch, & the bar staff can accommodate nearly any request. Our waiter, Renzo, was exceptional-attentive, friendly, & made sure we had everything we needed. As always, the restaurant hosts incredible DJs, & this time DJ Fice really stood out with a versatile mix that kept the vibe going all night. I'll definitely be back!Voir plus
I don't know why this is rated in the 3's... to me, should be at the minimum a 4.0. It is pricey, no doubt, so that may be where the lower rating is coming from, with all things considered. Service - 4.5/5 - Every waiter & waitress was so friendly & happy to serve. The only reason for a .5 star off is because the service was a little slow to initially take our orders; however, they could have been short staffed, so either way, still great service. Food - 4.5/5 - The rock n roll was AMAZING... & I JUST came back from Japan, so me saying this really means something. I'd say the price is the only downfall, in terms of its overall value. It is quite big for a sushi roll, but still. If it was $10, this would be a 5/5.. the lower rating is literally just because of the cost. Definitely order this if you are here though, you won't regret trying it. Ambiance - 4.5/5 - Great restaurant/lounge vibe, with a DJ that starts playing music later on in the night. This is indeed one of the golden mines of Montreal. If you're looking for the best place to have the mind blowing combo of high quality food, tasty drinks, great music & atmosphere (DJ was here as well) & best service, ask for Asia! She is amazing at her job as one plus her recommendations were so good, we didn't want to leave! 10 out of 10, now it's my favorite restaurant in here.Voir plus

Cod & octopus were excellent. Excellent service staff who made a knowledgeable wine pairing. Expensive but worth it. Met anothet couple outside who were dissatisfied. They ordered sushi. I say if you want sushi, go to an asian sushi restaurant. If you want good cooked seafood, then this place is worth the visit.Voir plus

On a Friday night, two old friends randomly walked in simply because it looked nice from the street. It is packed but the restaurant opened its second floor just for us & assigned us an amazing server, Gaëlle, who is super passionated about her job. We just took her suggestions & everything came out perfect. Our favourites are Miso Rockfeller Oyster & Beijing Duck Tacos, delicious, innovative & visually appealing. Cette endroit est parfait pour un verre entre ami ambiance lounge avec dj le drink le smoke show à base de whisky à l'érable vaut vraiment le détour personnel accueillant je n'est pas essayer la nourriture car nous allions rejoindre des amis ailleurs mais de se que j'ai vue tout avais l'air délicieux.
