I was not satisfied with my order. The plantain was burned so said the chicken. The jerk chicken was not that spicy. You didn't have no kind of flavor. The rise & peace was not bad, but overall the quality of the food was very bad. Very poor.
Had the oxtail & chicken curry roti. Both was 🔥. It hit that late night craving I was havin'.
Tried the griot another day & it was nice. Fresh. The sauce for the rice is so good.

I ordered takeout from this place. I know that restaurants live & die by these reviews so I don't say this lightly. Do not eat here. The chicken curry made me *literally* call 911 because I thought I had been poisoned. I can not describe the experience of eating the green, greasy sauce with unidentifiable spices, incredible & unexpected heat & an odd chemical taste I couldn't get out of my mouth for hours after. Some of the sides (rice, plantain) were relatively decent but the rest was not fit for human consumption. I have contacted the city health department. Avoid this place.
Brought my grandparents & we all had a great time! Not your normal dine-in place, but the service was great, as was the food, & they were very patient with us, despite the million questions asked.
& the doubles were incredible!
They had jerk chicken, & I had the Lambi (conch)
Have to bring down the rating because this is one of the most inconsistent restaurants I've ever eaten from. Sometimes, the food is amazing. Truly, the very best version of itself. Other times, they just throw the worst chicken scraps, full of bones & with a strange texture, into your plate. Maybe one of their chefs just does not care. This has happened to me several times, including today. When it's great, it's easy to recommend, but it's such a gamble every single time that I don't think I'll go back any time soon.
I ordered the Wham Bham Jerk sub & unfortunately wasn't to pleased. The chicken I'd say was tasty but it unfortunately tasted as if the bread was microwaved to warm up it was very rubbery & the same with my double i also ordered. The double was very dry & rubbery as well.
Today I ordered two chicken foot soups but I didn't get chicken foot soup, instead I got beef soup with one chicken foot in each bowl one boul had hardly any chicken on it.
I contacted back the restaurant to let them know that I ordered two chicken foot soups Not beef soups, the owe said that it was mixed with both chicken & beef I told her there wasn't much but any chicken foot in the soups she said that she was the one who shared the food.....I know what I had & it was beef soups which I didn't ordered.
Not happy with what happened with my order...
I can't complain about the soups other than it needs more food in it for the price it was a large soup that costs $16
The soups taste is 8.5/10 I will buy the soup again if things can improve overall great restaurant because I ordered from them before Jerk chicken was very good.

Absolutely delicious. I got the jerk chicken plate while my friends went for the jerk poutine both were excellent. Can't wait to return & try their other options
Delicious jerk chicken poutine. Food was prepared with care & the banana drink (Makaya banana) was delicious & still nice & cold when it arrived. They were careful to prepare the food according to my dietary restrictions, which I appreciate alot. We look forward to eating from there again (:
So, so, so, so, so, so, so, so good. Rice is not dry but not too flavorful either, the sauce is sweet & tasty, the salad is nice. However, the jerk chicken is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. Best I've ever had HANDS DOWN. Will probably be back tomorrow for more. They also give you a bit of that pepper sauce (Komla?) that you only get in the Caribbean - it's a bit spicy so watch out haha.
But seriously. Props to whoever made that recipe. It was delicious.

Love this place. The staff is so polite & sweet. I have tried their patties & they are delicious. Jeri Chicken & rice is yum... Surely coming back for other things. They have a green spicy sauce & wow.. one of the spiciest sauces, had to be extra careful with that !
My favorite place used to be Curry House in cote -des-neiges buy unfortunately with new ownership the food there became inedible. I was sad because no other place near me is good. until i found Faybee's. Best jerk chicken. Best oxtail. salad always fresh. plantain crsipy with fluffy soft deliciousness inside. they provide small containers with sauce & juices. i have no words. AMAZING.

10/10 Jerk chicken plate was amazing! first time I stopped by & I don't regret it! It was delicious & great portion all that's missing is macaroni salad or Mac & cheese instead of the regular salad however everyone has there own preferences! Thank you for the great service & food
Wir hatten Lust auf Jamaikanisches Essen, suchten auf Google Maps nach einem gut bewerteten Restaurant und so landeten wir bei Faybee's. Faybee's Restaurant bietet Karibische Küche und hat viele Gerichte aus Jamaika auf der Karte. Eine der Köchinnen ist Jamaikanerin. Wir hatten das Jerk Chicken, welches eines der besten war, welches wir außerhalb Jamaikas gegessen haben. Es ist über Holzkohle gegrillt, was den typischen Geschmack bringt. Gut gewürzt, aber nicht zu scharf. Die Sauce wird extra gereicht, mit extra Scharfmacher dazu. Man kann die Schärfe selbst justieren, was wir sehr gut fanden. Dazu gibt es Rice & Peas und Fried Plantain. Die Portion ist mit dem inkludierten kleinen Salat reichlich. Außerdem hatten wir noch Festivals, welche so waren, wie wir sie aus Jamaika kennen. Außen knusprig, innen fluffig. Faybee's Restaurant ist von der Größe eher ein Imbiß. Es gibt 2 Tische für jeweils 4 Personen und 3 Plätze auf Barhockern am Fenster. Im Sommer kann man auch draußen sitzen. Die Dekoration ist wie in einem Imbiß in Jamaika. Viel geht über Take Away, entsprechend ist ein Kommen und Gehen, aber es macht Spaß, zuzuschauen. Faybee's Restaurant hat viele Stammgäste. Wir wurden sehr gastfreundlich aufgenommen und bedient und hatten rundherum ein angenehmes und schönes Erlebnis in Faybee's Restaurant in Montreal.
We really enjoyed our meal, the rotis were amazing & so was the jerk chicken. The owner is super nice & made us feel welcomed. We will definitely be back.
