Farine & Vanille is described as a welcoming spot for good coffee and excellent pastries, with friendly staff, great lattes, croissants, babkas, breads, and fair prices shaping a consistently positive experience; visitors highlight the Cortado as a surprisingly elevated option and note the bakery's aroma and bright mornings as part of the routine, as well as a cozy small setting that feels relaxing despite the busy pace. The reviews highlight reliable service, multiple mentions of standout baked goods like croissants and cinnamon rolls, and frequent returns by locals and visitors who enjoy the variety of inhouse breads, especially baguette offerings, with many calling it a favorite post run treat. There are a few critiques in French that point to occasional inconsistencies in coffee quality, service variance, and a perception of uneven experiences in the space, but the overall mood remains that Farine & Vanille offers an independent and refreshing cafe experience. Overall, the place comes across as a dependable, approachable bakery cafe with strong pastries, solid coffee options, and a welcoming vibe that keeps people coming back.
I stopped by after a recommendation by the pharmacy team across from this place. A pleasant welcome with lovely smell of fresh pastries, the scent of coffee & smiling staff. My order was for hot chocolate & it was stellar! I will be back, keep up your originality & stay independent, it's a refreshing experience.

An ideal post-run treat! Fantastic pastries, space for seating, & the friendliest staff you could ask for. Made our Saturday run even better. Will be back!
Faites attention lorsque vous prenez une sandwich pour emporter & ne laissez pas de tip, le serveur dissimule le cure-dent dans votre sandwich pour se venger. Le cure-dent était à l'horizontal & enfouis dans la garniture. & you guys need to learn french.

This shop was down the block from our air bnb & we went every morning. The croissants, cappuccinos & cortados were consistently better than any others we tried. Always had friendly service too!
Been coming here for a while now during some of my morning walks & it never disappoints! Amazing vibe & extremely friendly staff! They have amazing croissants & babkas & recently had an amazing savoury danoisw from here. Without fail, their brownie is always something that we have regularly..it's the best in town! Today though, the big revelation was the Cortado! Usually I get the Americano which is fantastic but I tried the Cortado & it was at a whole different level! Might be my new favourite drink!
The best baguette I've ever had! By 2 p.m., it was all gone. We were late, but the coffee was good. We asked for butter to have with the baguette, & they were so nice to give it to us. We enjoyed it!
Went back from France, ordered 1 croissant - got out with 2 pastries … (+croissant was so good as usual)
Feels good to be back home
