Your taste buds will be stimulated. I tried the croissants & a few of their cakes. They're all flavorful, original, just the right amount of sweetness, & nothing like what you have tried before. The beautiful croissants look beautiful but there's more into it. My favorite are the gianduja, pistachio & raspberry croissants. The best part is that a few days later, they still taste amazing from my fridge! The staff too is amazing. They appear to be enthusiastic about their products & like to give information.View more
Heard good things, so paid a visit. Ordered a few pastries, including the Cube au Chocolat & Caramel, the Mangue, Fruit de la Passion, & Noix de Coco, & the Pistache & Framboise. It was difficult to choose because several of them looked interesting. We enjoyed all 3, quite a bit. I loved the Raspberry one, but we both really loved the Chocolate & Caramel cube. I enjoy pastries, & occasionally indulge. I have tried a variety from different locations (including Italian, French, & middle Eastern bakeries), & I can certainly recognize the quality of the pastries from Farine & Cacao. If they aren't the absolute best I've ever had, they're certainly the best I can remember, & certainly, easily, one of the best. A lot of times, pastries look great, but taste kind of generic, or are too sweet - these ones had us both sitting there not speaking, because we were distracted by the flavors & textures. We are going to go back & try some other ones. Thoroughly enjoyable. Highly recommended for those who enjoy fine pastries. Also, the staff were the loveliest people. Very friendly & helpful.View more
I quite enjoyed my yuzu citrus tart. The hot chocolate felt a little weak but it might have been due to the tart.
Had a raspberry croissant & quite enjoyed it.View more
Personally, I was a bit disappointed. Had the pistachio croissant, raspberry croissant, the lemon yuzu tart & the paris brest. The croissants are dense & not crispy, they are more of a support for the cream than good on their own. The pistachio cream is a bit too bland for my taste & not very flavorful, but good quality overall. I preferred the raspberry. As for the paris brest, the praline cream tasted overwhelmingly of butter & so was the texture. It was okay, the one at'la bête au pain' is much better. The lemon tart was pretty good, they even infuse the meringue with citrus & there is also some sort of cakey layer between the meringue & the curd. Overall, nice to try once but would not return. Best pistachio croissant is at Florence café in Saint HenriView more
Got there right when they were opening there was a lineup to get in. It's a nice little cafe with a few tables & a terrasse at the back. We tried the pistachio, raspberry & hazelnut croissants & chocolatine. It's on the thicker side & not too crispy. There was a hint of pistachio flavour, but it's the one that had the most filling. There was barely any hazelnut filling in the hazelnut one. The raspberry one tasted the best. The little sour taste gave it some freshness. The chocolatine, although it was still warm, was just a bit crispy. The matcha latte was good & the cappuccino was alright. I would go back to try their different desserts though. The staff was super friendly. 👍View more
Insanely good croissants. There's a good reason they had a line a while back. Raspberry filled!! Amazing.View more
I saw this place on MTL blog, one of the best patisserie places. I can say this was pleasant surprise. 9$ a dessert 🍨. But it is a coffee place also. They have a terrace in the back. Was a pleasant experience. The mango dessert was interesting but I think my favorite was the raspberry cake. Wish there was more variety when I was there. The service was great & very friendly.View more
Some of the best pastries I've ever had, especially the raspberry & pistachio croissants. Bring a friend, so you can taste a few things!!! Also, considering how incredible the food is, it's very reasonably priced. I've paid a lot more for a lot worse! Highly recommend, & I'll definitely be back again!View more
Heard about this place on social media, it seems quite popular as they were recently awarded an international pastry prize. We arrived before opening around 9:45AM on Friday September 20th. There was already a couple people in line, we were 3rd. As we got closer to the 10AM opening, a line of about a dozen people formed. Doors opened at 10:05 AM, they were still not done setting up pastries in the display. Only 5 people were allowed entrance at a time due to limited space. First impression is that it looks very elegant, high end, beautiful little cakes & pastries that are almost too pretty to eat. We ordered 4 different cakes: the black forrest cherry, yuzu tart, a chocolate/caramel mousse, & the rapsberry/pistachio cake, along with 2 of their stuffed croissants. Most cakes were around $9 a pop & I believe the croissants were close to $5 each. Considering the small size, these are not cheap. Service wise - there were only 2 employees, they were slow to take the orders & prepare the boxes, which needed to be set up & taped. This should have been done ahead of time as assemblings boxes for all customers on the spot really slowed down the process. I have seen reviews of people waiting upwards of an hour, I can understand why. It takes an average of 5-10 mins per customer, since people always have questions on the products, then take their time choosing & paying. Flavor wise - our favorite was the yuzu tart & raspberry/pistachio cake. The black forrest cherry cake was lacking flavor & seemed kind of wet in the middle. Their cakes are made with real fruit or purees so if you don't eat them right away they tend to get soggy. The croissants were filled with cream inside, they were a bit too heavy & sweet for my liking. Other than aesthetics, I am not sure what is so special about this place - I am not a big cake or pastry connoisseur but I can't say I was blown away. They make a nice gift since they are beautiful & I can tell they are fresh & well made but they cakes were not delicious & not worth the price or wait times.View more
Extremely delicious pastries! Very savoury ! The Yuzu lemonade is also very good! My fav croissant is definitely the raspberry one! Highly recommended :)View more
Second visit to this place, I love their pastry, delicate taste. Close quite early though. Loved the raspberry pistachio cake.View more
Got there before the store opened & managed to snag the last of the croissants after waiting in line for 1.5 hours. They are average croissants, the only one that truly stood out was the raspberry croissant. The forêt noire pastry is mostly whip cream inside & not worth the hype whatsoever. Does it look pretty? Yes. Will I be back? Absolutely not.View more

This is the best place for those with a sweet tooth, we took two desserts (mango - good, raspberry - great). Service is average, decor is ordinary, more to take outView more
