Overall, Falafel St Jacques is praised as a top plant based option with flavorful dishes, including falafel that is described as light and crunchy and an eggplant selection that earns big praise, while the pita and other vegan choices add variety, with many reviewers saying it offers some of the best falafel in Montreal and highlighting the welcoming, homey atmosphere and attentive staff. The menu is noted for being diverse with multiple vegan and vegetarian options, including gluten free pita, and the experience is described as fresh, filling, and reasonably priced, drawing fans to visit again. Some comments point to small details such as labeling of ingredients or in store pricing, but these are outweighed by consistently strong flavors, generous portions, and a sense of hospitality. Overall the place is hailed as a gem and a must visit for plant based dining in the area.
This was the BEST most delicious sandwich EVER! We both had the Shishtaouk Trio as it was highly recommended for our first visit here. The quality of all the food & flavors were excellent! The house made fluffy pita?? So AMAZING!! The LOVE put into this plant based food speaks to the love of cruelty free living! They say at Falafel St. Jacques,'we're storytellers of spice & soul' & that sums up the joy this beautiful restaurant radiates!!! Wonderful experience! Merci beaucoup!! Peace + Love ☮? ❤?🌱 #vegan

I have heard about the Falafel St-Jacques for quite a while but never had the chance to try it out. All vegetarian? not usually my thing but wow. I am going to be honest, it is pretty good. yummm After that i went two more times. They have all kinds of vegetables sides, cucumber salads, beets, mushrooms, coleslaw, guacamole, coucous, quinoa, eggplants, tofu, choux de bruxelles, corn salad, & you name it! They all tasted good really What I love about it, they give a pretty generous portion, too much that you can't even finish the whole plate, I always bring the second half the next day for lunch they have plates or sandwiches, decent prices, they will also ask if you want hot sauce on top or on the side, a must-try if you are a spice addict just like me! Nicely decorated, great ambiance, clean, great friendly staff, good service .parking on the street but easy, not too busy If you have thought of trying this place, i strongly suggest it. i regret not trying it earlier!
I showed up around noon after a gig, got a spicy falafel sandwich, & it just reminded me that I need to go to FSJ more often, their falafel sandwiches are the best in the west, the east & pretty much anywhere. This guy was pretty much working alone with a line up building up (lunch hour crowd) & this gentleman was handling it all very calmly, like a BOSS!! These sandwiches are nice & tasty in every way imaginable, & they are very healthy!! Thank you FSJ for both of your locations.
Best falafel sandwich I have had in a long time. I ordered two, but one would have been enough. Busy place, but the line goes quickly. Excellent service. I will be back.

Best Mediterranean sandwich in the city. They overpack it with fresh veggies full of flavours, super filling & you don't realize it's vegetarian. Henok & the team are super friendly. You have to eat here!
Vegan place; signature items, falafels are worth having, fresh. Also, dessert options are there; though I only tried falafel & shawarma sandwiches, & they are good, filling, & worth the amount: 9.99 for Falafel sandwich.
