Eva B is like a museum, a unique place that must be on your list of places to visit in Montréal.
Charming thrift clothing store & café in a multistorey shop. Large selection of clothes in a variety of styles.
I used to love shopping here. I have donated clothes pre pandemic & had no issues. But the last time I left three large bags of clothes, shoes (shoes were still in their original boxes) & some household items (still in their box). When I went back to pick up the things they did not keep, I was shocked. They destroyed the boxes, the shoes were smashed in the bottom. It was disrespectful how they repacked my items. I also left a few objects which they do not accept & I understand that but they still took those object out of their original box & destroyed the box. I do not understand why did they open the box when they could clearly see what's in it & knew that it's something they don't sell in their store. They should not have destroyed it. Overall I think it was disrespectful they way they returned the stuff they did not need.
Had a racist experience with some female staff members when I went to try out clothes. Got labelled a banana (yellow on the outside & white in the inside) as they snickered about it behind my back within an earshot. When the manager came around to speak to them with me, after I complained, the whole thing was totally denied of course & some lame justification was made up which infuriated me even more. Definitely not coming back as I felt unwelcomed & diminished as a person.
Great variety of different clothing for amazing prices! The first floor had more vintage clothes, while the clothes on the second floor were more current. We absolutely loved the eclectic decor & vibe of the place, it was so fun!
Very cool & unique vibe to the store! They embrace the grunge. Found a couple of cool shirts & my girlfriend found a nice skirt all at very reasonable prices. Only took away a star because of how packed it was in the building, not much space to breathe, the clothes were tightly jammed on the hangers making it hard to look through. That being said if my only complaints are people seem to love it & they keep well stocked they must be doing a lot right!
Dropped off clothes & was told I'd receive in-store credit eventually. It never came, even after calling for follow ups for several weeks.
Smelled werid & gave me & my friends a really bad headache, the clothes? 15-20 dollars for USED CLOTHES. In my opinion? Absolutely ridiculous, it was cute & fun to go see but I would never actually buy anything from there.
Fun & original place! Go in with an open mind & a lust for finding good deals! Help to recycle clothes rather than having them cast on beaches or landfills
