The food is absolutely delicious! I knew the brand & have tried their tacos many times but the new opening in Verdun doesn't betray their signature. The service is great & the decor is always fabulous! I recommend the Barbacoa & the E-steak tacos ! Add some tabasco for realness! Love it & will come back for more !
It was a little loud when we first arrived but we were given a booth at the back of the restaurant, which could have been a little wider, but was quiet. The service was excellent & the exchanges with the waiter, were fun. The food was authetic & was delicious, the drinks also. Gracias. We'll be back! Gy
I had the pleasure of having Escondite Verdun take care of my special event. The manager José Manuel is absolutely brilliant! He knew how much my event was important for me, & all the little details! He took the time of listening & gave me some ideas too as how & what would be best for my event . On the event day , he & the staff were just absolutely amazing! Taking care of our needs they did a 💯 service & quality as well.
The food & the drinks were amazing & the ambiance was great!
If you want to celebrate something here is the place to do it & you will love it !

Great food, very nice ambiance & the team is chill & very welcoming! Love the fact they have a unique twist on mexican food, with a hint of Asia. Love the flavors & the amazing dishes, lots of choices. My favorites are the baja tacos, pollos hermanos & nacho 2.0 dumplings! Big shout out to a wonderful host & bartender Cristian
J'ai fait des Escondite mais c'est la place que j'aime le plus! Beau décor avec de succulents tacos. On en a goûté le Mexique! Des drinks sont superbes sans parlé du service impeccable & amical. Demandez José, le meilleur :)
Pour quelqu'un qui n'est pas allé, c'est le temps! Vraiment bon & les prix sont abordables. Bientôt des Mariachi vont être là, en septembre & la fête des morts aussi! J'y retournerai !

Very good! I've been to two other Escondite locations & this one didn't disappoint. The server was new but still very helpful & kind. Service was very fast. There seems to be a good amount of space since there's upstairs seating as well. The portions are small for the price, but at least they're delicious!
Ate lunch here with a friend. Love the little terrace, we were lucky to get space. Service was incredibly fast. The food was delicious, & at first I was worried we hadn't gotten enough but it was just right.
Tout d'abord, l'endroit était très bruyant, nous ne pouvions donc pas nous entendre. Notre serveur nous a dit qu'il apporterait notre commande en 2 services. Mais, ils ont apporté presque tout à la fois, donc ça remplissait à peu près notre toute petite table & c'était dangereux car ils avaient de vraies bougies & nous devions la déplacer nous-mêmes, ce qui était très chaud. La nourriture est bonne & c'est ce à quoi nous nous étions habitués dans d'autres Escondites. J'ai commandé un autre verre à l'un des serveurs qui a dit "oui, bien sûr" & il n'est jamais revenu du tout. Notre serveur, qui semblait pressé toute la nuit, nous a demandé si nous voulions du dessert & nous avons commandé des churros. Un de ses collègues est alors revenu avec un keylime. Nous avons dit que c'était probablement une erreur alors il est retourné à la cuisine (le même gars qui n'est jamais revenu avec mon verre). Nous avons pensé qu'il a probablement dit à la cuisine de faire des churros. Puis 15 minutes plus tard, notre serveur revient à notre table où il avait placé nos assiettes & il a vu qu'elles étaient vides & nous dit qu'il s'était rendu compte qu'il avait fait une erreur & avait commandé le mauvais dessert & que nos churros finiraient par arriver. Nous avons donc attendu encore 20 à 25 minutes. On est allé aux toilettes, puis on est revenu. Encore pas de dessert. Notre serveur n'est même jamais revenu pour vérifier si nous avions eu notre dessert. Ma femme était frustrée & j'ai dû aller au bar & demander à une autre collègue de nous apportez la facture & d'annuler notre commande de churros car le cuisinier semblait être en train de laver le plancher & son quart de travail était manifestement terminé. Pendant tout ce temps, le restaurant était presque vide... & personne ne semblait se soucier que nous attendions là avec des assiettes vides. Puis notre serveur, qui évidemment n'a jamais commandé nos churros, est revenu à notre table avec une paire de shooters en réalisant sa double erreur. Je dois admettre que j'ai haussé le ton & je m'excuse auprès de notre serveur & de toute l'équipe. Mais notre serveur a alors dit'Pourquoi ne m'avez-vous pas dit que vous attendiez tout ce temps ?'. Wow. Ok, c'était de notre faute maintenant. Espérons que les choses vont changer. ------------------ First, the place was very loud so we couldn't hear each other. Our waiter told us he would bring our order in 2 services. But they brought almost everything at once so it pretty much crammed our very small stable & was dangerous because they have real candles & we had to move it ourselves which was very hot. The food is good & it's what we've been used to in other Escondites. I ordered another drink to one of the waiters who said'yes, of course' & he never came back at all. Our waiter, who seemed in a rush all night, asked us if we wanted dessert & we ordered churros. One of his colleagues then came back with a keylime. We said it was probably a mistake so he went back to the kitchen (The same guy who never came back with my drink). We thought ok, he probably told the kitchen to make churros. Then 15 mins later, our waiter comes back to our table where he had placed our plates & he saw they were empty & then told us he realized he made a mistake & ordered the wrong dessert & that our churros would come eventually. So we waited another 20-25 mins. Went to the washroom, came back. No dessert. Our waiter never even came back to check if we had our dessert yet. My lady was upset & I had to go to the bar & asked another colleague to bring us the check & to cancel our order of churros because the cook seemed to be washing the floor & his shift was obviously over. During this whole time, the restaurant was almost empty... & nobody seemed to care that we were waiting there with empty plates. Then our waiter, who obvisouly never ordered our churros, came back to our table with a pair of shooters seeing we were all upset & realizing his double mistake. I have to admit I made a scene & I apologize to our waiter & the whole crew. But our waiter then said'Why didn't you told me you were waiting all this time?'. Wow. Ok well it was our fault now. Hopefully things will change.
